Sasaki's models never were rejected by the dev team. Fact is, they were never submitted because they were never finished. Please don't make stuff up for your own benefit.

Anyway, this mesh + texture job has far better visual quality than the one that is currently in the mod. Sasaki's models were also quite good if I remember right. If you can manage to complete the job relatively soon, it may have a shot at getting into 4.86.

The ship looks very good. It will be nice if the ugly imports from homeword go out and some decent ships like this one fill the gap.
