Back than I knew why I did use Photobucket. It was something to do with the maximal allowed resolution, or a way it stored .gif images. Now I can't tell.
Thou the only time I managed to pass the 1GB monthly limit is when I was making 1mb gif animations and did spread them for a while. No problem since I don't do it there.
What made you make that thread?
EDIT: To better think of it, I know. Browsing a huge album there is really slow. So I don't do it, if I need something from the old days, I just upload it again. I don't know what Vex means by stuff not staying forever. I still have the first FL screens what I uploaded when I was a rookie.
I am TinyPic man, no need for clicking shizzle to enlarge it, no need for registration, no slowpoke opening, no force advertising by pasting name under your images >_>
Imageshack is so bad. Also, it does not support animated GIFs. The easiest Way to upload Images and other Stuff is Dropbox. Simple copy-paste and it is uploaded.
I hit the max upload on Photoshop quite a few Times with doing my Comic.
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"
I don't get it.
If you do not like the free services of a company just shut up and move along.
But that's no reason to make a flame topic on some company's FREE hosting service.
And please, what's about this two or three words comments?
Heck there are people behind such companies - THIS INCLUDES (FORMER) DIGITAL ANVIL !!!
If there is something wrong with some services, I'm grateful to read and to discuss.
But this shouting out: 'STOP USING PHOTOBUCKET' is just destructive.
Ah, and since we are at the very point where any idiot can post his opinion:
Get some work Evan and make it better and host some free services.
