I think you all need to calm down. Acting as if this is the end of the world is really a bit much. It is my hope that all of the closed NPC groups will be opened up, and hopefully will allow for people to experience a more expansive and rich roleplay experience. I do not believe there should be ingame NPC groups that cannot be player except at the permission of specific people. This is a game with a wonderfully wide array of possibilities to play, and I feel that is one of the most important parts of keeping this community thriving so long after this game should have been forgotten about.

Ok, I have to agree with Zelot here....the mayans were right...oh my God.
/restart coalition? <insert funny(?) joke about coaltion server restarting you>
headaches coming soon, not least of which is the fact that when the SCRA turn up, you never know which side they're gonna fight on... which is part of the terror i suppose.
Will there be a policy of bastillement for those indies not... terrifying enough?

On a more serious note, which communistic leader (preferably from former SU) would have most common with current Coalition RP?
I think Katz is most like Gorbechev, a modern, open, more progressive leader. He is definitely not in the Stalin or Putin mold. Not that I am saying that Stalin and Putin are comparable. But that is just my view, I guess Alvin would be better suited to answer that one.
I have pretty mixed feelings about this turn. However I'm not into speculations about whether this will end up in a splendid success or a miserable failure.
