Also Junkers are technically civilians in house space...I mean like legitimately, they could be native to London or Leeds or Manhattan and could completely support whatever war is going on... so yeah they (Exiles) can go shooting Bretonian citizens during the war with the Gallics, why not?
' Wrote:Really surprising, to see how loud <strike>the</strike> some junkers cry when only a base on a lane in -one- bloody system is hostile to them. Leeds is a war zone. Reps are as intended, that bigbadbattleship is hostile to the Junkers. Frankly, most of Bretonia would be viewing junkers with renewed scrutiny after it was revealed they had been Gallic spies for the longest of time...
Deal with it.
This is true, except that it is ONE base that is in range to fire on anyone docking on Stokes. I tested this, and since you temporarily lose control of your ship while docking, I had a CSF destroyed a few times while docking at Stokes and there was nothing I could do about it.
That has got to be the worst response ever. What is the problem in changing it to 'neutral but can't dock', it's practically the same thing as being hostile? Except we don't get turned needlessly red to a house we happen to work in.
If someone can tell me a valid RP reason why the Exiles would start blasting Junkers and why the Bretonians would join in on the party then I am fine with it, but until then

You won't get one. You will get a 'deal with it' sign though.
What I find most appalling about this thread is that it is yet another case of people trying to deal with in-rp problems oorp, without making any, ANY, attempt to deal with them in RP. People would rather complain on the forums oorp than try to come to some in-rp understanding.
I am merely curious as to why it is set up like this, is there a communications thread or faction post that I can look at that explains the rep settings at least?

Well, the appalling thing was that originally the rep was neutral and then got changed without any 'Forum RP' so, pot, kettle, black, whatever. Furthermore, the decent thing to do would be to set the rep to a place where both parties could actually continue their respective RP without the added hindrance of having a house go red to them upon exiting a tradelane. i.e. neutral but no docking. Set up for this exact purpose.

I didnt think 3 years of consistent roleplay needed a comm thread to explain it. Junkers are hated in Kusari from vanilla. If the junkers want to change thier long term situation with the Exiles, or Kusari in general for that matter, I would think it would be they who would be opening up threads, but it seems some Junkers prefer to just complain oorp.

But, whateves man.
The original Exiles rep with the Junkers was an oversight, not intentional. But yea, I know, why would some Junkers do anything in rp to improve the situation when they can just come here and whinge.

You don't get it though, you don't even try to. Yes, Exiles hate Junkers, we get it. However, the emperor has no power anymore, he sits in a house that he was at war with, at their mercy and wants to shoot possible citizens of that house as if he was still emperor with the power of a house behind him.
Junkers were also not informed, nor did we have any input into a situation that affects us. Hence the complaint. We don't want to be friendly with Exiles, we simply want to be able to dock at bases in Leeds, without having everything go red. Too much to ask, I know.
