I really don't know how stupid can one be to deliver his kill in such way.
I realize that those were the pictures of a roadkill, but lets talk about them.
How bad of a driver one has to be in order not to evade such collision? I think the people who it happened to should not be cheering or showing what happened with any intent, be it fun or educational, but they should be embarrassed of their driving skills and should NOT, I repeat NOT get behind the wheel ever again.
We all know that some animals are attracted to bright lights and kind of drawn to it. The car on the pic is Chevy Lumina, it is a fairly heavy car, therefore it has a longer breaking path, but it does not have the capability of driving fast on a windy road. Therefore I see no justification for the incident.
If you ever face this kind of problem just break, tried to avoid the incident. If you go fast and there is an animal, do not flash/turn on your high beams, instead lower them, if possible stop and turn the light off and make noise. The animal will move away. The animal will not move, it may even go towards the lights if you start flashing them.

Jammi:Just me at home. Of course I take off my glasses and dress in grey/white camo when we go.
As to the Black Widow, I wonder if that real moose escaped injuries...I mean he was ready to mate, I hope he didn't break anything, but I bet the story doesn't tell us those kind of details.
It will be awesome if that statue bison would be edited pregnant after some time.

Yes I drove the Chevy Lumina, which killed that moose. But it was strong enough to get him home in one piece:D, Even though I had to buy a new Lumina afterward:rtfm:.
Makc if you come and hunt Moose in my area youll find that most of them are quite promiscuous and tend to mount any inanimate object they find....... For e.g. My Trash Can has been the victim of several horny moose attacks.
However the encounter with the bison left the moose sore for days afterward as cold metal just aint the same as the real thing if you get what I mean.
I would like to nominate your last post for the "One hell of a funny reply" !
All i can say is BRAVO !!!
LAMOOOOOOOOOO
"he scored with that metal bison for a couple of days"...i am still laughing out loud....hahahahah
So, you are the driver of that Lumina...whoa..I would assume you live somewhere in the northern part of US or Canada?
As for the trash cans, I am having difficulties picturing it. The trashcans are either taller than we have here and more stable, or the moose are just too short.

I don't know if I'm rememberting this correctly, but the location on your skype account was "London, UK".
I wasn't aware the reintroduction sceme was so advanced in the south east. Although I think the conservationists should keep up the good work. The public demands wolves in Sloan Square, reindeer at Mornington Crescent, bears at hyde park corner, and beavers on the underground.
