And the reason we haven't helped Xtcmax is that he's being an insufferable ass. I was about ready to grant him a probationary commission for the thing till he decided to shoot off his big mouth. If you tell the judge to Eff himself when he tells you to answer the question you're likely to get fined, at the very least.

In terms of how this applies to the Outcasts:
Good point there, the game is there to be played, but the suffering we experience comes from the vast majority of indies we encounter giving you a, "lol, wut?" when any kind roleplay is attempted.
This is the decision of the Outcast Guard, to argue with it is anyone's choice, but this extremity is much needed after the amount of crap all of us have had to put up with in Alpha recently from indies in battleships.

Aldo I do agree with the story part.But think for a second that some people might not have all the spare time to deticate to write a story.They might be busy with there real lives and problems.Personaly I think that when you spend 2-3 or more days trading and suffering while you do it.You can spend the money any way you want.Hm..I didn't see any abuse of his ship? He didn't kill everyone he saw and he is probly a good RP'er with it.Saying *sell it or we kill you* without being an admin wont do the trick.You can restict them to your own clan.You have every right to treat the 101'st any way you like . I am sure your tactics will result into harmony and peace on whole server, erm, I mean Sirius, with great effect on decreasing rulebreakers count to 0 and causing playing on the server similar to OpenSP enviroment. Epholl: I believe stuff like that will be corrected when (or rather if) the ID revision goes into effect. Quite frankly I too believe that is wrong and cardi smugglers should be allowed to be attacked by IMG (IMG and Outcasts = sworn enemies), especially in systems that pretty much qualify as IMG controlled. But let's not stray from the topic.
I am all for the restrictions on the biggest ships a faction has to offer by an official group, especially if that group is roleplaying the command/guard of the entire NPC faction. It's all in roleplay. If you are in a faction capable of building huge ships, you have to respect the fact that the chain of command will be equally big and extensive and you need to answer to those people. Otherwise you are out of roleplay. There is no such thing as an independent military, and Outcasts are in fact a sort of military. Xtcmax you say you are an army veteran, well you should know a thing about army hierarchy then shouldn't you?
If you want to be independent, become a simple pirate. You can get a Rogue gunboat and be dangerous still, nobody will restrict that cause it is universally accepted that pretty much anyone can cobble a rogue gunboat together.

NO. Not a capship bashing. This has more to do with bad RP than anything else. The number of people we have to put up with in Alpha with franly ridiculous reasons for having a battleship is unreal. Now I know that you like you battleships Laowai but you RP them. Most of the people we get buying an OC BS cos it looks cool are people who when you say "does that ship have any background?" will reply with "I iz Captain lulz" "I bought it" or better still "Lol n00b, look at your puny fighter"
I have no issue at all with well roleplayed capships. none at all, Infact I welcome them and enjoy their presence. But this oorp crap annoys me, and I'd rather they did it in something less destructive.
Both the RM and KNF have had similar policies for a very long time. This is no different.
