jeez, you make me sound like I'm totally one sided and not willing to accept good role play....
which is certainly not the case.
If I deal with a situation ingame, I do it in role play, reacting how my character would react. I simply felt they hadnt given what they did ingame enough preperation and thought, hence my last comment.
oh, and GET SOME KEEPERS ONLINE!!! please... my char blackheart is reduced to madly heckling order characters, which gets kinda boring after a while.

Mostly busy with modding at the moment, but people are on, and hop on several times a week. However I believe the problem lies within timezone: most of us are in European timezone, from 0 GMT to -3 GMT. Some of us aren't but that's where majority is as far as I know. We have a few players from US timezones too, but that's about it. Plus you can always send me a message via Skype when you're on and we'll try to arrange something if we'll have time and people on.
Perhaps, I'm not saying that you are wrong entirely, I point out that SP campaign isn't the only material out there and certainly not the one that can truly reveal Nomads and their nature. I already told earlier here that it appears they rushed the idea of sisterhood too fast resulting in backfire, and advised to be more careful about it and take time.

Sorry bud, that attitude is gonna make me keep you awaaaaaaaay from Liberty. And if I see you again, on any of my chars, you're an enemy for me.
Just so you know, I'm not in the LSF. I was just trying to see what kind of person you are, and you proved you aren't worth 2 cents in my eyes. Good job.
I've been a witness to many accounts that he's retold.
He never fires a single shot in Alpha, he has an outcast tag, and he does roleplay it the best a nomad in his position can be rp'd.
As stated before Docking Killing is a serious rule breaking.
He's even flown with me and a few others on missions in alpha.
It's 6am right now, and I'm VERY tired...I forgot the point of this post...
But, m point is, i think, that he causes no harm, has TRIED roleplaying his character out ot being able to be in alpha, Visas has too. Most people in Alpha should know by now that he IS friendly and won't be doing anyone any harm...
And just because one person is ignorant to what is going on, doesn't mean that he can do what he likes, including breaking the rules.
I'll spread the word, IC if needed, since I have first hand accounts to back my position.
I also encountered the two Nomad Light Fighters in question, when my Liberty Rogue Guard tagged/ID'ed Outcast Destroyer Drax arrived at Malta for repairs yesterday.
I was shocked upon finding Nomads around Malta, but I was assured by various Outcasts (Tenacity etc) that they posed no threat. Being a Liberty Rogue and according to my background RP as having been in the Liberty Navy 16 years ago during the Nomad war, I insisted the Nomads be kept away from my vessel at all times for the safety of myself and my crew, but I did not open fire.
The RP was intriguing and sounds like a nice idea, but does need fleshing out and until you get true Nomad/Keeper status, you ought to not dock anywhere except in Omicron Kappa. Or at the very least, dock at Ibiza, not Malta.

Good suggestion here. Keep Malta off for now, better hang around in a distance, that's more safe for everyone, Nomads including. Tenacity, you might as well talk to OC factions too about it and arrange some good roleplay story to make things more fluent and more careful, I can offer help if needed.
So let's get things on right foot and slowly but properly get it moving. First attempt was a bit too rushed out it seems, but there are always chances to fix and get it on right track. The idea is too good and fresh to miss in my opinion.
One thing that should be mentioned here (which was introduced before): the Outcasts might respect, even revere Nomads as holy spirits, but not all of them are welcoming or buddies with them. Most Outcasts would likely be fearful of them, so they wouldn't attack. However, I don't believe they would let you dock with Malta nor Ibiza. Hang around the Siniestre Cloud, maybe in Omicron Beta, but do not sit around Malta's orbit.
Liberty Rogues, Lane Hackers and other unlawful types also hang around Malta, and would be likely to shoot you down (in-character). The Outcasts might be the only humans with a "ceasefire" with the Nomads, the rest of Sirius is suspicious and frightened of the aliens.
As a Nomad, you should not be docking with human bases. The planets in Kappa are an exception, considering they are silly easter eggs with a junkyard of ships and weapons.
' Wrote:i don t play an outcast, nor have i much understanding of their history. - but i believe that a nomad warship ( and a fighter is a warship for htat matter, its a fully armed ship that raped quite some human ships in the nomad war ) out of their ZoI ( thats the little space around the graveyard ) can be considered a threat.
Many Native American tribes hold the bear in great respect and can even consider one a messenger of God or a sign or holy. But I've see a few pictures where they have the bear claws around their neck.
Some plains tribes considered the buffalo "holy"--and ate them for dinner too.
Some Africans "give thanks" to the animals they kill. for food.
No African, American or Native American will let a "holy" grizzly bear eat their family as was mentioned earlier.
So don't peg too much on the Outcasts being superstitious fools. Just that they reverence and awe the power of Nomads and mystery of their nature.
It doesn't preclude them from being nervous if you get to close.
And what all that has to do with the game here may I ask? Didn't get this all resolved already? Nomads don't exist in our world, and certainly aren't of class "holy animals", so let's not draw lines out there, otherwise they'll be drawn for such length they become meaningless within context of discussion and merely become a point of each one's assumptions, and that's surely way off. And for all that is nice and furry stop drawing equation between Nomads and animals.
I'm going to go ahead and side with noobius, because, as far as I can tell, someone was reingaged because he didn't leave system fast enough....even if he wasn't trying, its not puck's job to enforce that. Two wrongs, etc. Whether or not noobious was oorp, or broke the rules, attacking him multiple times, and apparently not once of these times was self defense, is reingaging. And against the rules.
Puck, I'm now a bit worried about what help you will give people who come to your angel.
Noobious, I would recommend not docking on human bases...its embarrassing once killed. I am suggesting a trek each time you are killed, but if people dont kill you, you can stay there for ages, and as it seems that the majority of outcasts will not attack you, you've a reasonable safety in Alpha.
EDIT: Seems that it is not against the rules for the winner of a fight to reingage. Still seems like an abuse to me.
