To start with, I was quite idealist youngman. believing in our nations power and prosperety. And I wanted to be a part of it. Perhaps, not developing it, but do something each carring man can do - defending it agianst outter forces who are threat to it. Fallowing my idols I enrolled to Rheinland military. Never been in much of action, except of chasing down few tradelane pirates until few weeks ago, than I was deployed to enforce Liberty - Rhienland embargo. Everything seemed fine first days until one event which totaly messed by beliefs. Our wing was ordered to shot down a civilian transport. Civilian! I was so confused. THere were two options to obey the orders and disobey my heart and kill innocent people or to disobey and later be brought to trial of military.
The things looked without any exit until.. heh, just about time a patrol of Bundschuh wingmen appeared. And the current orders were changed. We were ordered to chase down the rebels. So we did. But the chase wasn't successful in the terms on catching the rebels. Despite that, we had a long chat until rebels entered the asteroid field. Perhaps it didn't made a lot of holes in mein herrs minds, but something in me changed. After the inccident I started a reaserch. About everything I could get my hands on. More I get into it, the more I realised that something is wrong. I was living like a traitor to myself for some time until ...my mutter seeing my confuse talked to me.
She told about my step brother and my father who I never knew. He was serving at Hessian gunship "Ave" as a gunner. Even if he was aboard on hessian vessel, he was deeply idealistic. Believing in revoliution. But revoliution requires secrefices. One day gunships was taken down by RNC-Rheinland Tiger... heh she never went to the story how they met but gave me this codes to contact you and said, that I have a step-brother somewhere in your movement. Who might light me even more about what is happening for real.
For now, I lost faith in current Rheinland political rezime. The governors actually serving only their own pockets and ideas, and not even tries to change that or help out regular citizen. I don't know much yet, but I think thats quite a big reason to change all my life. For these 6 years I was a traitor of Rheinland. Serving those monsters. This sin, will always be lying in my heart. But I believe, that I can still repair my damage, by helping to crush this evil.

I'm Marcus Macht, the brother of Rudolf who recently contacted you. I've read his message and decided to join my brother and offer maybe a little dirty but helping hand to the movement in it's struggle against the Kanzlar and his hounds. Let me say a few words about myself. I've been working as a freelancer escort pilot for independent traders in the past few years but i've always knew that someday i will have to give up that part of my life since most of my contacts were trading with the DHC or some other industrial giants in Rheinland. Who would hire an escort pilot whose father was serving on a Hessian gunboat? Before you may ask, yes i knew about our fathers past and respected him greatly for his ideals and his neverending optimism which reflected in his best quote: "It's a game, i can die!". Why our mother asked me to hide the truth from my brother i will probably never know... While i knew about our father i never sadly never shared his connections with the Hessians or the others who refuse to obey the Kanzlars will. This has changed in the last year when i've met a Hessian covert agent on New Berlin. He was suprised because i reminded him greatly of my father. Later he contacted me a few times, and kept an eye on me i guess since not long after i've decided to follow my brothers path, he offered to help me sell my Eagle and get an old Falcata instead. I knew my brothers fighter would be probably chased if seen anywhere so i offered to take him where he wants to until he can get another ship. So now he is on Holstein and i'm also near the planet. In case you'll accept us i can escort him to your base right now, just give the word!
A woman's face appears, pale almost in a sickly way.
"Being so short on time, Im not really sure where to begin besides the fact that Im desperate. Ill start from the beginning or as close to as I can get. Im a former officer of the Rheinwehr whose objectives lie mostly within the Stuttgart system. Most of the time my wing would defend transports trying to break free of a Hessian assaults as they carried ore for miners.
During this time our level of confrontation with pirates of any kind was rather limited because of our experience as enlisted pilots. Though, as losses mounted from time-to-time we would have to make a stand of our own. Due to the opposition we were used to, just transports we were rather inexperienced, but we managed to get by. Due to our luck with surviving enemy strikes, we were assigned to make a quick disturbance in the Dresden system.
As we entered enemy territory, there was already a wing waiting near a gravitational anomaly our scanners couldnt identify. In the matter of a minute, our wing went from eight pilots to four; two more of our ships sustaining heavy damage. We quickly began a hasty retreat the way we came, with two Hessian pilots engaging their cruise engines behind us to pursue.
Once we were a safe distance from the area our battle had just taken place, our commander ordered us to turn around and engage the enemy. Despite our damaged equipment our numbers persevered and we were able to force them to surrender. At this point I was ordered to execute them both, but I couldnt bring myself to do it. Both men had surrendered and deactivated their arms; was there really anymore need for violence?
As my internal struggle continued, the voice of our wing leader echoed through my ears. He told me by not executing those criminals that I was turning my back on the will of the gottkanzler. I continued to refuse the order to fire on our defenseless captives. As a result of my refusal my squad opened up on me; instinctively I went evasive and fired back a few rounds without thinking.
In the midst of the confusion the Hessians activated their weapons and engaged once more, destroying our commanders ship and an additional one. This left me and just one other who fled claiming he would make sure I was given what I deserved. I powered down my weapons without so much as a word; if senseless murder was the will of the gottkanzler I wanted no part in it. I closed my eyes waiting for certain death to take me, holding my breath.
I opened my eyes some minutes later to see what the delay was, but both ships were already off scanners probably having scattered back to their territory. I fired up my engines sneaking into Bering, and trading in my Military grade fighter for something a little more common on the Freeport. I came to the conclusion that civilian equipment would help me avoid attention, and have evaded capture so far; but theres nothing here for me and I cant continue to pretend I agree with the way things are ran he."
A knock on the door is heard in the background
"Im out of time!"
The video feed cuts off as a the door can be heard bursting open
The door opened and a Rheinland Military soldier went in. After he had made two steps in, the woman hit him with an old bigger console into his head. The soldier fell down and she ran to her ship. She has made her way to Rheinland in the hope that the Volksfront would help her in this desperate situation. There was no problem to get to Hamburg system, but when she jumped to the other side she saw that two Rheinland Military Wraths are already waiting for her arrival. They must be informed from the unconscious soldier about her location.
One of the soldiers said: Flieger Schuerf we were already waiting for you, please cut your engines and prepare to be arrested.
She refused that option and tried to escape into the Alster Field. After a short while the soldiers started to fire on her ship. It had taken much damage. She had totally lost her hope in the escape when suddenly three unknown vessels showed up on the scanner.
She could hear from the radio:
Military ships, this is Doctor Daniel Boehmer, cease fire!
The soldiers didnt respond and have continued in firing at Schuerf vessel.
Boehmer: Gut meine herren, open fire.NOW!
The soldiers were shocked and immediately changed their target and tried to scratch the Volksfront vessels. At the end one of the wraths exploded.
Boehmer: Meine herren cease fire. Let that poor servant of the traitor tractor his friends pod and flee while he still can.
And so he did...
Frau Schuerf Im glad that we have arrived just in time. I can see now how serious is the situation in the Rheinwehr. Its good that you have realized the terror and the lies of the Kanzler.

Right.. assuming Hans got this pile of junk to work.. Well, about myself.. Name's Kai Reinhardt, sixteen years of age. I've been staying here with my uncle Hans, I swear that man is a testament to what the so called Gottkanzler can turn people into. Man used to be in the Rheinwehr, if you can believe it.
But.. family is family, and he was close to my father, which brings me to why I'm even attempting to send this transmission in the first place. He was thrown out of the MND about a month ago, medical discharge. It was the first time I'd gotten to see him in ten years.. but he was a changed man, to say the least. Born in 778 on planet Hamburg, I finished school in 798 and joined the local Hafen-College, going for a master's degree in Political an Social Sciences.
With the begin of the Nomad war, I realized how unstable our current political system can be in critical times.
One person above, one single person.

Concentrating so much power on one institution is way too dangerous, for if this person was to be incapacitated, our whole governmental system would be crushed.

The political way would not work, we all know that, leaving a more readical approach.
I do not appreciate killing our own people, but I will do what I must in order to give power to the people, to let the people reign themselves and not to be reigned.
I posess extensive knowledge about Rheinland systems and it's surroundings, especially Liberty, Bretonia and the Omegas.
Furthermore, i can fly everything from a Ultra-Light-Fighter to vessels of gunboat sizes, as well as from smaller transports to freighters.
