Rumor has it local runners have secured financing for increased payments from those willing the make the full run from Malta to Manhattan up to a certain amount of deliveries. While we can't say how much, some speculate it's a few tens-of-thousands only.

This demand is exacerbated by the ever growing demand on the part of millions of citizens across Sirius who are desperately awaiting life saving organ transplants. The resulting decrease in product at Planet Kyushu is driving local markets to pay exorbitant prices to any transport captain willing to ship Synth Paste from Planet Stuttgart.

As a result of this growing demand, managers at Synth Foods are placing a call for more workers in their manufacturing and processing plants. Liberty Government has increased efforts to terraform Planet Atka in the Hudson system in order to make the planet habitable and accommodate prisoner overflow from Texas. With that in mind, they have contracted Planetform Inc to provide Terraforming Gases to their nearby base, Cold Bay Depot in the Hudson System. Unable to keep up with shipping demands, Planetform Inc is calling on all available transport captains to assist, with a hefty bonus upon delivery. They can pick up this commodity at Douglas Station in Omega 3.

Meanwhile, a severe shortage of Xenobiotic Filters at Planet Sprague in Omega 3 has developed. Bretonian officials have also chosen to contract with Planetform Inc to provide this commodity from Cold Bay Depot on the return trip. Overwhelmed by these sizable contracts, Planetform Inc is paying a sizable bonus to any and all transport captains who can successfully deliver this commodity.

There have been reports from sources close to Rheinland Government, that leadership is furious. Faced with expansionist Liberty in Hudson and renewed efforts to strengthen Bretonia's foothold on Planet Sprague, sources have notified Sirius News that Rheinland Forces will establish a blockade in Omega 3, preventing the shipment of both commodities. Bretonia Government has thus far not responded to questions, but it is reported that Resistance forces that frequent Omega 3 are on high alert for both Bretonia and Rheinland military incursions.
