indeed. i question how they reasoned this in the first place.

as to the 'perfect world' you mentioned where indies dont lolwut around in caps, thats possible to achieve simply by the devs setting a few simple restrictions.

The only thing preventing that is the QQ brigade which surfaces whenever indie caps threatened by sense and reason.

As captain of LNS-WHITELINE on screen I should admit, that this lines in lawful IDs are really stupid.
And I will blow each and every "quasilawful scum"(except for LSF) I meet, until IDs become fixed.
Know what's most interesting? The only thing which can be applied to me is FR5 to junkers/zoners/freelancers, which I don't care about.

Or, in theory, the LN could FR5 you for completely going against the sanity of LN roleplay.

In the reality they cant. check post #18 it explains why they cant.
It is quite strange why so many people around have no clue about faction rules and what factions can do and cannot do.

what i find funny about all of this, is that whoever put the line in the IDs is technically guilty of violating 1.2 because these lines harm server gameplay.

Now I totally agree with this. Hm, what would happen if I file a sanction report about this rulebreaking? Name of offender: Dev team...
Zayne, I might even join the fray. If the ID allows it, no sanction can be done against it. End of story.
