Not a problem. Wanted this information for myself too as I'm going to be building a jump drive in the near future. (seriously, noone is selling JD IIIs)
It seems that equipment requirements did not change much.
But in my opinioin, the module construction requirements did not change enough (approx. -20%) compared to the fact that killing a base is four times easier now. Bases are not as much easier to build as much easier to destroy.
Tel...please. We've all heard the arguments. We all know the risks. Just play the game. If you're that worried about your station getting blown up when nobody is online...then hire someone to protect it, or recruit more folks from different time zones.
If you can't handle it, then just don't build POBs. I dunno what else to tell you.
No, You don't build something given the new changes - the existing ones are those who would suffer. No one will be able to get a core 4 up and running, thats a personal promiss - I'll blow each myself it thats what it takes, but im sure others will beat me to it. I won't trust the people here to hold a lemonade stand, let alone playing fair.
So as you can see, theres going to be alot of qq - and the devs are directly responsible for it, no more "its the wishes of the community" none-sense, no one including the ones who were against it has approved such an easy implemntation, it is obvious to even the ones who dislike them.

What happened to being good and honest?
Space is a dangerous place. Bases get damaged, bases get destroyed. If you don't want to, or can't fund and defend them, your base gets destroyed. Your base is not magically invulnerable just because it exists. Just like buildings in real life.

Yeah...that's a real good attitude to have. /sarcasm
Whatever...as long as you do it within the scope of the rules. But I'd be careful...you're certainly not going to make any friends that way...much less anyone who is gonna want to help you with anything.

But in real life not every single person has access to a tank or something equally powerful to blow up a building, while in-game any bored lolwut group can get BS-es and blow a base up just for fun.
Yeah, they get punished, but that won't make my base existent again.
I am curious to see how future Omicron politics play out after update 7 (assuming that is when Zoner ships get changed).
I wonder how Zoners will stop encroachment by malevolent parties in the future with no BS cerb capable ships. Can bombers scratch bases? Not saying parties would encroach on Zoner areas or that they couldn't diplomacy their way out of it, but if the chances of rebuttal are significantly reduced, it does become an option.
(This is not meant to be a QQ post, I am genuinely curious, please do not launch into Zoners need caps again. We have like 5 threads for that.)
