Good job to the devs for finally bringing the carrier on the line.
After 2 years of work its good to see some results. I hope whole Bretonia Community is slightly happier that they got something new, something following the past history of Bretonia (the War with Kusari) and the current stages during the war with Gallia. The ship stats look really heavy but its normal to follow the original bret heavy line (gb/dessi/vhf/bomb) considering the heavy enemies (knf bs/valor) Bretonia had to face so far.

The info card says it all, rly good one. And since Docking Modules require 0 cargo now, all carriers can do their job and bring only more RP options for the team players

PS: Those of you wondering why the prototype inside the shipyard is not the ship we can fly now - the prototype was...well a prototype. It had problems with model being unplayable. Textures can be fixed in time,possibly, so dont worry if u dont like the simple colors

Same with the Battleship Scanner. First a power nerf, now - 5k in range. No problem with the Advanced Deep Scanner buff, but they really had to do that to the BS scanner on top?

Advanced Deep Scanner - $82,250 - 17k no power nerf on any ship
Battleship Scanner - $250,000,000 - 20k + power nerf on anything but battleships

Am I the only one that thinks that makes no sense? Seems a little OP if you ask me. Not sure how a LF or a bomber can generate enough power for a 17k range but only battleships can muster the power for 20k.

This favors the bomber pirates and effectively kills the Battleship Scanner once and for all. It is now nothing more than a fancy title you'll find on cap ships just for the name alone. Traders will leave them on there if they have them, sure, but there is now little to work towards to extend your range beyond the average. Whether you use that advantage for piracy or against it, that range was something worth working for.

I wish I could say this didn't sour my reception of the update!

Scanners are a joke. I will have to keep camping gates to get those few piracy interactions I get.
