Can everyone please go jump in a Taiidan, fly around a bit testing the handling, then jump in a Stinger and do the same? My god, I feel like I'm flying a Starflier after doing that switch. Bombers do not handle very well. The Taiidan feels like a drunken brick. I feel like my old AT turns better.

I can follow a Praetorian in my Stinger without him barely being able to get me in sights. Bombers do not handle anything close to fighters.

And powerplants? Yeah, they can fire normal guns great. Excellently, actually. Oh yeah, the Supernova. You ever fire one of those? One shot, more than half your plant is gone. And it doesn't jump back up quick. Far from. If you fire anything while your plant is down from a Snova shot, it's extremely painstaking to get enough umph up to fire off another. After two? Your plant is gone. And you cannot fire any guns if you want a Snova shot within the next 20 seconds.

Bombers don't need a nerf. I'm sorry. They can be dealt with if you know what you're doing.

Bombers need a BIG nerf.
They [color=#CC0000]SHOULD NOT be able to kill fighters.
I dont care how skilled you are.

Give me good reason, Cam. Big red letters don't make a point, arguements and points do.

With two pilots of equal skill - one in a VHF, one in a bomber - the VHF pilot has the advantage. Simple as that. If you want to tell me the bomber has equal chance, I want a damn good explanation. I have no problems against bombers with a VHF. Supernova hits? Yeah, that'll give bombers a chance. But honestly, anyone with half a brain can dodge a Snova in a VHF with ease. I've never been hit by one, and I doubt I ever will. If I do, it's a nice lucky shot. I can live with that. It's a very powerful weapon, it's obvious that a nicely placed shot is going to have results.

From my experience the only VHF players that die to bombers are those silly enough to joust with em

Exactly.

Please don't complain that bombers need a nerf just because you aren't a good VHF pilot.

Some bombers handle as well as fighters. Never tried the taiidan.

There should at the least be a baseline handling and acceptable range for each ship type, and the best handling bomber should be worse than the worse VHF.

Akumabito, give me the coded proof of your claims. Then I will continue this debate.


EDIT: And I know the Cats are frakked up. They aren't in question, since they're already getting nerfed.

That is true Aku...the red cat is too agile...tho KNF fighters can keep up with it....however i think the red cat is getting a fair nerf in the next version

Sorry i flipped out like that... i just... hate bomber whores.
I got mini razored in the face by a bomber... But still, bombers shouldnt be able to take on a fighter and win.

Fighter pilots who can't defeat bombers don't deserve to fly VHFs then, by that reasoning.

What happened to skill here? Should coded stats and statistic decide everything? I vote not.


EDIT: Actually, while we're on the bomber subject, the Barghest needs a buff. That thing is a floating target.
