This sounds like an attempt at self defense at a previous complaint under the guise of a public statement saying, "Bugger off!". So who was it then? You don't often see random threads popping up on the topic of, "What we do EVERY day to ensure your security! BUY WAR BONDS! Oh, and please stop griping. Its not easy being green" unless its an issue of a damaged ego.
Aaaaanways. It seems all the forums are good for in this regard is just broadcasting all the bad things that happen. Such as,
"I got pwnt by an insta-killer!"
"Flash: Order ooRP in NY?"
"Outcasts not allowed to use inferno?"
Or my favorite!
"Open note to XYZ Faction
~No flames, pl0x." - To which his first post involves a flame and several indirect smacks to the face of XYZ faction with a salty trout. Three pages of puffed chests and damaged self esteems later, the admins come about and lock it.
SO! My point is, why are you kids always complaining about what goes wrong? Surely theres something better to do with your time. You don't have to live after the Newspaper philosophy of "Depressing, hateful headlines get the most sales!"
... And proceed to write 15 articles about how many people were killed where or how much was stolen or vandalized with a tiny 2 sentence accent regarding a new school built by US troops in the Middle East in an attempt to alleviate the stress of the paper when, in fact, it just gets smothered by more processions of violence and sorrow.
Get over it and live your life! Its too short to waste it on petty trifles such as this.
-Edit- Not directed at the indifferent posters of this topic like Drake and company.
Yeah, you don't see much of the Phantoms anymore. I think most of their RP was internal or something. Never got much of an impression of them other then kill messages and seeing them move across sirius. Got in fights with them about 6 times as a lawful, no RP other then a line or something each time.
I think the whole problem is about a balence. Some people get whiney at the first sign of PVP some can't get enough of it. Most of the time people don't realize it is just a game and take it personal. I play to have fun. If I die= GF, if I win = GF and woohoo. So many people can't do that.

The Phantoms seem like a PvP-whore faction. But then, there are about 3 or 4 admins in it. Conspiracy?!?!
Whatever. I just avoid them.
For me, it's:
Lose: "GF, but easy on the CD/mine spam/missile spam
Win: "GF"
@Magoo!: I'm actually a bit surprised you aren't a moderator.

Sometimes you run across a bad apple. Bad apples come in all types of IDs. Bad guys get them, good guys get them. Keep your smile on, report rule breakers, be the best player you can be.
If I check back here in a couple of minutes and see the pointless sputtering has not abated, Ill abate it.
Commander, you've caught Phantoms whilst on a raid. Phantoms have three modes, Raid, Lockdown and Hunt. Both hunt and lockdown feature a huge amount of RP, just ask the folks in sigma 13 last night and the night before.
Raid features an enormous amount of RP before hand, taunts, and the like, and then it's boom. Consistently and without pause. Everything dies or we do. Once everything we've targeted is dead, we leave. If you happen along in the middle of a raid, you're dead too.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.

I'm not talking about Sigma-13.
This happened WAY back. But usually, it's just telling everyone, house faction, indy trader, or otherwise: "YOU'RE GONNA DIE!", regardless of what you guys do actually type. I've heard everything from "talking corpses" to "pet Wilde". You guys scare me, in more ways than one. The thing I don't like about you, is that you never answer any questions. You just say "corpses don't talk" or "dead men tell no tales" and have at it.
Of course, I don't mean this as a flame. No offense meant to you, Hood, Kane, or the rest of the Phantoms. A bit more on-the-spot RP, rather than droning stuff on and on would be appreciated. Of course, I haven't been in the same system as you lately [and frankly, I don't plan to], so I wouldn't know if anything's changed.

In this regard I'm afraid I must concurr with Kurosora.
Although it could be like the giant red dot which got bought for $300,000. Curse modern art.
Oh! Elaboration... I guess its a "No girls allowed" sort of <strike>treehouse</strike> faction in that its probably a RP that you actually get out of group chat. Sort of like the Keepers. Every bloody time I try to make contact with the third kind, they blow me to pieces. No matter what I try.
These two factions are sort of cut and dry with the RP though. Either they talk to you, or they don't. If they don't, it just seems like they don't care, which is rather disheartening given the circumstances.
Its like Halo 2 and 3. They get so much reception and hype that the public (community) just writes it (them) off as awesome and goes along its merry way. Despite the fact that Halo 1 was clearly at least 10x better than the others. Y'know, before they were drowned in fan-boys.
... I... Guess that metaphor was related. Right?
-Edit- Wait! Who hijacked the thread?! Deeelll... Stop making me go on my unrelated tirades with your Phantom-defense!
I have to admit we do get a lot of annoying people i do yell at but well most of them die. Most idiots who want a "PvP fixed" get it in the way of an SN shoved down their throat so they can't say Lol anymore. It's only when one of them uses their brain and says "Lets get a whole bunch of us and kill lawfuls" to which the answer is always " Lolz ye". And then a whole bunch of ships show up about 10k off Manhattan until they eventually engage us.
Other than those occasions we tend to handle most pirates well.
And when 4.85 shows up on our door step in the little baby basket, we can all rejoice and dance around in the streets but you wouldn't do that cause its bright outside.

Unlike me, I'm pro at making it look like I actually have an opinion on the topic.
Except in this post.
I'm feeling rebellious.
