I totally agree Hood. But which topic are you getting at ... the pirates, the traders or the mercs?

All of you could do with a little less of the nasal utterances sometimes, and more of the roleplay keyboard
smarts ... Most of you are far too intelligent to stop a little matter of gameplay getting in the way ...

maybe I'm alone in this....but I love traveling through S13 with my Adv. Train....
I love encounters with pirates....if I deem them good RP & good pilots, I will halt and RP for a while.
If I deem them good RP'ing but poor pilots, when they say halt, I say no can do. Then the chase is on, if they get through all my shield bats, and nanobots, I will halt, and RP with them, ussually followed by them chuckling, and being like "oh look i nearly killed you, and then you stop"....its all really fun...
Over all, I play it by ear....being pirated&running from pirates brings thrills to the otherwise gloomy task of power trading....

The best times in the game, i've had in S13, once I came from Chog JH with 3 Blood Dragons in pursuit. I was met by 3 'sairs who wanted to pirate me too. So instead of keeping on running, I halted, being surrounded by 'sairs, and also Blood Dragons, the attention quickly went from Halt trader to Oh Sh%& Blood Dragons....then the two groups of pirates went at it, and I flew away laughing....good times...competitive pirates, nothing like it.
