Why do you undock when you know enemies who just tried to stop you are out there, waiting for you? Common sense?

You manage to dock, and by recent change in rule 4.3, you are not PvP dead. You can continue to use this char & trade. But, the problem starts when you try to undock, or even return to system 10-15 minutes later. Empty cargohold, or even with non-event commodities, previously mentioned Corsairs/Outcasts instantly engage and kill you, as the "I seen you smuggling before". Are they allowed to do so?

Actions have consequences.....do not expect to be able to run and dock to escape a demand or destruction and the shortly later......un-dock and expect nothing to happened to you.

If you then.....return to the system with legal cargo and expect to be treated like any other trader, it almost sounds like you were trying to bait someone into a sanction. I am probably wrong, but that is what it reads like to me when you described the situation.

Maybe for this event....Smugglers SHOULD be considered PvP dead for 2 hours, if you dock within range of hostiles who are trying to stop or destroy you.

No, I expected some RP after I undocked, with said enemy telling me to drop my cargo, never come back, ask for a fine, or whatever. Undocking planet and getting 6 torpedoes flying towards me without any RP is not what I expected, as neither Corsair ID allows it nor event rules. If I had event commodities, maybe they can kill me without any demand, but without them, no.

They expected the RP before you docked.

Had it been me there when you undocked. I would have asked for a 60 mill fine, and you probably would have chosen to not pay it, and it would have ended with the same 6 torpedos eating you up.

Why 60mill? That is unreasonable you say? Certainly not, when that is around what you made by running and docking and not stopping.

It is not a game where you get to have it both ways, and to get all Lancer Legal over the whole thing, is just bad form Bro. Just my opinion.

I didnt mind getting killed, fined or whatever. Just expected more than silent engage with torpedoes. I am asking as this happend to me 2nd time today, and many more times to other players.

These events really bring out the worst in people, don't they?

Nah. If people would accept that rp has consequences then no one would have problems with it. Smuggling stuff to Crete/Malta, and expecting them to magically forget about you after you ignored them, is like expecting players to use Skyrim stealth mechanics.

If you make on and off great for you, if you die, oh well. Theyre doing their jobs just as much as the smugglers are by preventing interdiction.

And I docked. You didnt manage to catch me. And my question still didnt get answered. When undocking, 2 minutes later, 10 minutes or 2 hours later, may I be instakilled as I was caught smuggling before? This question did not come up because of Sasapinjic killing me, it is only an example of what is happening very often today. Smugglers getting caught once, and then they are put on some kind of "blacklist" and get destroyed every time they are seen around. With or without commodities. As soon they are logged, they get metagamed, awaited at hole and killed without any RP notice.

well if corsair/outcast see you with illegal cargo, they have right to ask you to drop or make you pay fine and shoot you if you don't comply. just thrusting away while being repeatedly asked to stop will get you killed and nexttime the chars encounters you they will not show the same kindness as you failed to heed their warnings before. The question remains though. if the trader has illegal cargo he should be fine/killed whatever but a trader with no cargo should not be insta killed without reason. atlest thats how it should be
