I'm just gonna repeat what others said but word it differently, maybe this will make you or others change their mind about leaving:

As a mainly pirate guy I also have to deal with raging powertraders that log their alts and target me at every opportunity, and people holding OOC hate towards me even months after a single encounter, there used to be a time not so long ago when every time I logged I saw lawfuls log immediately and coming after me, I had a recent encounter in O-7 when after blowing up a trader I got attacked by 2 Molly GB's with no RP at all so yeah, I know that feel.

There are two things you can do (3 if you got it in youl):

1: Subtly change faction tag, /renameme your char and poof, they won't know it's you anymore so they won't be coming after you until they figure it out again(usually the people who do this kind of stuff are not the brightest bulb in the classroom so it's gonna take a while).

2(and my preferred option): Take the bull by it's horns: Keep your chars just the way they are, keep logging them in defiance to these toxic people, they'll eventually figure out(again, these people are enriched with all the bad qualities so it's gonna take a while) there is no getting rid of you and they'll get bored and find someone else to pester.

3(Related to 2 but entirely optional): Troll them. You posting here instead of doing the exact same thing they do is already proof that you are smarter and better than them so use that to your advantage, get a Marauder and fly circles around them, don't fight, just dodge and laugh in their faces as they accuse you of hacking because they can't land a proper shot on you(talking from experience xd).

See what they're flying and get a countership that is small, fast, hard to hit like a Scimitar/Marauder or if freighter, a Camara.

If you get the chance to cruise away, LEL, go nuts on them. Laugh at them and call out their miserable failure as they fall behind.

Make dirty jokes(within RP/rules of course) about their parents' underwear and have a laugh as the gates of the flooding rage burst open on their side.

Keep this up and they'll give up sooner rather than later.

And if nothing else helps, take ss with /timestamp and file a report.

Nothing slaps their smug faces awake better than the good ol' sanctions.

I've been reading through the replies.

Thanks for your contribution, attempts to change my decision and explainations.
Gather this mindset, and bring it to other players, especially new players.

However, my decision is final and nothing can change it.
Aside from constantly being annoyed by what made me angry, I noticed a fact about Freelancer/Discovery, that has also affected my decision.

However, I wish those who understand the nature of my complaints and my "ranting", good luck and lots of fun on this server, aslong as it lasts.

But yes. Those events with kill bonus generally make some people to play cheap. Hopefully you will return at a later date with a fresh mind and drive to do more stuff.
