I've been busy with testing the Desperado. Entering final stages. All systems nominal.
Nightfall.
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
Chasing traders round the Sigma 13 and Honshu areas, I noticed a Bretonian flagged
battleship in the New Toyko system, and went to investigate.
The Paladin was hanging round the planet with a lot of enemy fire being launched at it.
With a little help from an ELF cruiser in the neighbourhood, Its shields were quickly downed
and the ship then ran.
The big bad BAF running from a Sabre ?? Our reputation must be pretty good then.
Not sure how cruising away from a fight like that scores in the overall scheme of things ...
Mmm. Docked for supplies and hospitality from the Stoned Sisters ______ J.M.M

I took the liberty to do a bit of restyling of the Coat Of Arms:
As per Pedro's request, I came up with these, who cares about heraldics?
'An idle mind is the Devil's playground' I heard once said...
EDIT: btw, all of you Ghosties can use the COAs, that's why they are made :)

As for a third version of the COA featuring your lovely profile -- throw a pic to my inbox! I'll do something when inspiration strikes :P

Bernard, Thanks for the re-do and re-positioning of the signatures for our members ...
Looking sweet as a nut. Be lovely to get the ships done with a coat of arms next to the
cockpit.
Bit of a crow from me, just reached me 1000 kills again. Official Ace tag now worn with
pride. ________ Miguel.

This is Bernard Fokke onboard the Ampoliros Dreadnought.
Today at approximately 1630 hours Zulu Time, The Ampoliros returned from her first mission. Combat tests show full capability to counter possible threats.
As a bonus, the Ampoliros brought in a few looted battleship weapons as spoils of war. They will be transfered to the Armoury if anyone needs them.
Until further orders she will be on guard in Alpha on a secret location.

The Desperado
As some of you may already know, the Desperado is active for a week now and will be assisting the Ampoliros and the Black Pearl in whatever way the situation may require. If need be, it can also be called upon by the GoR to assist them.

@Miguel: I was busy with the rest of the ships, I'm just a little more than half way, will get to that asap

Hats off to donna Kristina Pryde for the Relentless pursuit of SNS-The.Payne from Omicron Alpha to Alaska and finaly engaging it there in a Sabre.
To my surprise, I realised that the Ampoliros is a little too big for the rocks of the Malvadas to go through at cruise speed. :(
Drinks for everybody at my Hacienda!

A second note, knowing now that he had unmounted Battleship weapons/equipment onboard, my sensors picked him up in Omicron-305 then he went to Alpha and stayed there until we scrambled the Ampoliros and an Ace to support it.
I have to ask where did he get those BS guns? At Corsica? Those are Outcasts property. It will be investigated how did he get those and where. The sso| were suspected to somehow be able to dock at Corsica. for some time now.
I wouldn't have had valuable cargo while underarmed and without escort anyway, nor be deep into enemy territory as such little less looking for trouble. Guild master Payne is an obvious risk for their organisation. Maybe he is the key weak link in the chain we need to strike at for them to crumble... But maybe I'm just rambling, after all, I'm just a Cardamine breathing Outcast.

OOC: McNeo, you were lucky I missed the Alt and hit the 'Windows' key which threw me to desktop instead of launching a disruptor or you would've been some 50mil poorer and without the guns
