That's right there, in the #0.

Let me help you a bit more.

I hope that makes it easier for you to read at least few sentences.

That sounds extremely redundant. Good luck.

People should be held responsible and actually provide forum roleplay before being able to "register" for siege. Some random indies or unofficial factions should not be able to post siege notice on behalf of dozen of factions that have not even participated in said roleplay.

Totally agree. Not only that ANY faction or individual that posts an attack declaration without real RP beforehand needs to have the GM polish their boots on those faction/individuals bums. I have seen some appalling attacks where, all that is said is "Must purge, unclean" and that is it. ONE scrap of artificial "pretend" RP and that is all that is required. If the RP does not have substance, then it is not being role played correctly.

This thread is not about quality or quantity of roleplay before siege. This is purely about idea that participants should make their own RP and their own declaration to be valid. Factions sending out communcations to allies and instantly listing them all in declaration before they even respond should not be allowed.

The issue here is less the rules around attack declarations but more about how cancer it is to kill a PoB is which is why we get quick 1 post declarations for every Core 1 PoB that shows up because you either kill it in the first few days or it will be there for the next 10 years.

I agree in a capacity that you should have contacted allies before pulling them into the declarations. But I don’t think making people write a lengthy RP post or several posts is going to make any difference other than slightly more hassle for attackers.

Quote:[12:43 PM] SnakThree: Just remove any sort of guidelines how much RP is needed and be done with it. The thread is meant to work as notification to assemble defense or supplies before siege. You remove subjective guidelines how much or what sort of RP has to be done and it removes ambiguity that leads to some people getting their declarations removed on the count of "too little RP" while some people get away with less because they belong to special sort of faction that apparently has hidden benefits of having less RP standards than the remaining factions.

I think that removing quality or quantity of RP from requirements should be done, but again, this is not really the main idea behind the thread.
