The only indie RM ships i have seen yet did infact RP in some way, perhaps i met just the right persons.
However, the only RM Battleship i ever saw stuck in an Asteroid field was an official [RM]:D
So far, i haven't had that bad experiences with indie RM's. Of course, you can always expect some Cruiser or such around Sig-13 Jumphole...
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
How's my little thread? Ooooh, you have grown fat haven't you. Have you been well fed and nourished?
Um, no. It appears that only one RNC can be positively identified and that one is <strike>stewcool</strike> <strike>not stewcool</strike> the Bismarck. But where be the others? They answer not to the forums?

Quality before quantity any day of the week. And it's not anyone's area of space. EDIT: Premature post. By this I mean that I don't regard Rheinland as being exclusively the area of any one player or group of players.

I just assumed they were an unofficial faction of sorts. I would like to know who a few of them are. Because I posted on the forums before wanting to talk to one, and I got no response.

the status out there a little more.

I've had 2 encounters with RNC ships on my [LN] character. Once was an extremeely well RPed occasion where the ship was Rped as being infested and commed one of the senior [LN] on before he headed over to Texas/Bering.
The second time though, a RNC (either a BS or cruiser) just kind of wandered into Texas with no purpose and had to be escorted out...

Oh, Zelot, you emo guy, you.
Anyway, if the RNC would Roleplay like the RM do (Personalizing things instead of making every response a generalized statement to justify their attacks), then I'd be great with them, however, I find a lot of their RPs uninteresting and an RP coverup to use a big ship to mebop-mebop my poor lil' Eagle (Or beastly Behemoth  - I had a BS chase that the other day), though, that's just my look at it.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

No, stewart is my room mate he got T'ed off at something about the admins and scrapped all of his ships. (Made them all starfliers) The money for all this is going to my ship.
Though all in all, this is something to discuss in the flood not in this discussion about RNC
References aside, RNCs are the indy capitals in Rheinland that have agreed amongst themselves to demonstrate some form of conformity to a pattern by sharing the standard tag for capitals as displayed by the English version of the game. Notice all capitals floating around if you're playing the English version and you'll see the RNC before their names.
I'd say that their similarities cease there, as we have all sorts of people playing those characters. There are even some people who are in the [RM] player faction that don't have the rank to fly capitals from within and have chosen to fly them as independents, or some that started out as indy capitals, have applied to the faction afterwards and have kept their old ships. As with everything else, there are all kinds of players using those ships. There are the problematic ones (those that breach RM's ZoI, single fighters from battleships, silently engage people) and there are all levels of better ones.
Their interaction with the [RM] is a strange one. I confess that if we had our way some half of them would be locked away in bastille right now, but as I've mentioned before and Xoria reminded you all, that bubble has been burst for us a good while ago. As far as the [RM] player faction is concerned we try it to the best of our abilities and our patience to have these people play with us, but it's not easy. [RM] has always been a fighter oriented faction and so have become all factions around us. The sudden insertion of that many RM capitals in Rheinland has broken that somewhat. It has been a nightmare for the unlawfuls and a headache for us. Some of these people try and play with us, some couldn't care less and I've seen more than I care to remember multiple cruisers and gunboats one-siding single fighters and even a battleship ganking a Loki.
Fact of matter is: These people aren't [RM] official responsibility and they aren't even organized as the "tag" would suggest. If you have any sort of problems with one of them try and talk directly with the person or take it to the admins. I take the opportunity to urge the community not to bring RNC matters (or any other RM indy issues for that matter) to [RM] members as it is without any of our powers to deal with them. Take it to the admins.
