Okay, Tic I understand you, I also experienced that kind of raping many times. To all people that do that
i wanna say : Imagine if that was you , and 5 people start to shoot you, how would you feel?
Few examples:
1st. The other day i was on my LN char, 6 or 7 of us online, spotted indy nomad... and naturally we
all wanted to shoot him down... buy as I was leading officer on duty, my command was simple..
2 on him at the time... so that was the case. If we want people to come again and try to fight and RP with us
-we have to respect them-, period. While 2 were fighting we all RPed and watched the fight... we could swarm it and kill nommie in matter of minutes.
2nd : HF patrolled through NY, spreading propaganda, one falcata 4 Sabres, spotted indy LN who is well
known on Discovery server and he has reputation as one of the best pilots on server. Commander of HF
gave ultimatum to indy LN, pick one of Legioners who will kill you.... I was amazed... with honorable act, even if HF is known for that kind of conducting in battles...
3rd: Me on RoS entered Gamma with one other RoS pendejo (:P) and we hit the wall formed of 10-15 sairs in all kinds of ships
... after some time I was left one on one with one sair... soon other came to help him, but he was honorable enough to say
to that other guy , who was obviously looking for a easy kill, to stand down,
and we finished the fight (kudos to you)
Now downhills... :

I mostly experience fair play when i am online with Disco veterans who think same way I am, and who abide -unwritten- code of conduct and actually give the other guy a chance in fight. By online i think either on my side or when i am fighting against such players....
So what if you will loose... IT IS NOT IMPORTANT , it really isn't. Of course everyone wants to win, its is normal...
my advice to people who cares about not being shoot down: You have to be real, and RUN when you are outgunned...
seriously, no dishonor in running, at all, its in the RP, you can't win always.
Also, guys, learn to not give a damn when you are swarmed and raped, it helped me.. I was very
resentful in the past about that, but then i started to learn that, after I've talked with some guys.
IT IS NOT ABOUT VICTORY, ITS IS ABOUT FAIRNESS ! You will feel better after you do the right
thing no matter what outcome it brings to you.
Kudos to ALL people that have decency not to cluster f*** their enemies. You are sunshine in Disco's eyes!
P.S. I will not name any faction that conducted like fu**s lately... even tho i saw few names in this thread,
general discussion is best way to solve problems. No naming is necessary. They all know who they are, IF and only IF they have any honesty at all. Nothing would make me happier than when all people could conduct honorable and wit fair play in battles, and generally on Disco.

Problem is he didn't want to run... maybe he expected some fair play from other side...
Also stop giving excuses : "You entered this and this system , what were you expecting" Its bullcrap.
He was expecting fair play... AND you can say that phrase for every system in game. Its lame.
EDIT : If i was in his shoes, i would most defo run away...
EDIT II: Kambei, shut it. Maybe it started from forum trial, but maybe it can end in healthy discussion, if you stop adding
additional oil on the flame. Discuss, make an example where you conducted in fair play, if you can ... and help new members
of Disco community to understand how to play ... Shouting FLAME FLAME just shows your ability to discuss... *sigh*

So maybe Tic did that in past , he certainly raped my Nomad fighter couple times with his HMS - Invincible, but maybe he finally figured that it was wrong and now when he tries to rectify and say something you post something like you did... that tells me alot...
P.S. Tic, just remove names in 1st post and put XXX so people don't put that in your face, and I am with you 100 %, also I bet he thought lession on raping someone and he will not do that in future...
EDIT: Also he gave kudos to people that did something good.... which tells me he figured bigger picture of Disco, nice man.

See ya, and due to recent things that happened to me, i will probably not enter Bret. for a very long time. But if you will need help to explain to some people why is raping one Chimera with many ships bad, count on my support.
Fair play is on the server
some time's it's hard to find
but it's there
i believe every player on disco has found himself outnumberd some time
and no it aint fun if it happens.
but there are players who keep it fair and in them we must trust and find fun with
most of the time's i will just let myself be shot if it happens
wont even try to run would make em only have more fun with it
after im killd i just logg on to other char and find my fun there.
so it is here just need to find it

I didn't make this thread because of one incident, where i got gang banged, but becaue of numerous ones like that which happen daily on Disco. You speak something about 4 BAFs on your Chimaera. Come on man compare Templar and Chimaera. 3 or 4 on 1 isn't a problem, but 6 + 10 NPCs support on 1 is. If it was 3 or 4 on one i would not complain. But imo anything above 3 on 1 in equal ships is not fairplay. And since it was in Tau 31, i can imagine you hidden near the battleship there, which has a firepower of like 10 fighters.
Also and telling me i don't play fair on BAF? Mate do you even know what my BAF char is? You obviously don't.
What ever char i am on, i always watch out to make it fair play for everyone, from my side at least.
And this thread wasn't started as a forum trial, but to raise awareness of the Discovery server members. And the names i mentioned in the first post were the ones i gave Kudos to for fairplay.
I would disagree that this thread is just about the KNF vs. Others. Those who want to make it so, do so purely for personal reasons.
I t used to be really lonely as a KNF officer, or as a GMG pilot. With the establishment of a good GMG faction, and an influx of KNF warriors, Kusari is finally coming into bloom.
