Personally what i like about this game is publicity now i know many think thats silly but i love goinging into a system and people imediatly go "Arh Great hes back" Its makes me laugh I Also like helping people and most newbs ask the higher leaves so when i am in my dread and i got about 12 people all staring at my ship i help out. Its gives you a great satisfaction.

I think so far, the most fun per credit ship I have right now is my AFA bomber, worth about 30-35 million credits tops.

Didn't read the thread, so sorry if someone had already stated this, but join a pirate faction (not necessarily a player faction) and start interacting with people. Pirate some traders, make friends and enemies. Act like a drug-profiteering Outcast or a crazy Corsair, or anything in between. Keep a trade ship to fund your adventures and perhaps to start experiment ships with other factions.

That's my plan anyway.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

If you are working towards this "Endgame" and you think that is what this is all about then I am sorry to say this but.

I'd just like to say that the fun in this game is what you make of it. To me, it's not about the battleships, it's about the RP, from getting the entire NY system wondering what "Fluffies" are (Gaian Wildlife which I was pirating from a trader), to the half-hour beating down of communism I was engaged in with the SCRA (They won the PvP fight afterwards, but it was clear who won the RP side), to fleeing from a mandalorian mercenary shouting "EEEEEEEK!", only to find that it's actually a setting up starflea. It's those moments which make you smile even thinking about them, and that's just one side of the game, albeit a very large one.

Quote:I. Noobish
Often, but not always, noobs will attempt to communicate in their own primitive language, known as "n00bish." It is a variant of the hacker language that exposes them as having little intelligence or will to learn. Here is an example of some noobish. Do not attempt to comprehend it: it cannot be discerned without professionals at hand.

This is you.

And this is us:

Quote:II. L33T
In gaming, a term to describe one with a great deal of skill, or to describe incredibly advanced technology. One who is l33t is the opposite of being a noob. L33tness is relative but usually comes with experience and skill (or upgraded hardware for better gaming speed and performance).

I rest my case.

@ Violette: You are not helping.

But yes, in short - it's rather unrewarding and pointless to spend 5 months earning for a capital ship that someone can call couple bombers on, and get rid of it in five minutes or less.

I'll say this now. SilverLeaf, you do not posses the ability to roleplay at a level suitable for a capital ship. The terms lolcap and lolwut immediately come to mind. Someone who can be quoted as saying "// now kill me" after being forced to drop his cargo (for a valid roleplay reason) should not be at the helm of capital ship until he is capable of roleplaying to an acceptable standard.

Your lolwutting cruiser has caused me a great deal of trouble.

Sorry, but it's true.

I have achieved my 'endgame' in two weeks.

Capital ships are some of the worst ships you can get actually.

Setting up a decent Bomber or Fighter is much better.
Do that.
