The past few days have been interesting ones for the Front.
A few days ago, we received word of someone who was attempting to somehow gain possession of a Spyglass battleship. The ensuing hunt for this individual -- flying some sort of a prototype vessel -- led a mixed group of NTF and Legionnaires as far as Bering, where he was peacefully (if irritatingly) dealt with by our allies.
Upon our return trip, Hellfire forces encountered the LNS-Successor and a number of support fighters near the Virginia jump hole in Texas. They called for aid, and I and several other gallant Neo-Terrans (as well as the Hackers Poulpi and Poulpo) came to their aid.
Despite fighting dangerously close to the Navy freehold -- and despite Lieutenant Averos and the two Hackers having to eject from their stricken ships -- we crippled the Successor and held off a far more agile enemy force until reinforcements could arrive.
Unfortunately, it seems no one thought to turn on their guncams in the heat of battle; myself included. But considering we took no losses besides Averos' fighter, while inflicting serious damage ourselves, I'm more than willing to count it as a victory.
In unrelated news, the Belisarius completed its refit at Monterrey, and is now back up to full operating capacity. Furthermore, the Grall and Venture have been bringing in significant loads of fuel and supplies to Junction in recent days.
Even better, I would like to (belatedly) report the addition of three new pilots to our ranks: Amaya Suzuki, callsign ]NTF[-Inquisitor; Jason Whitman, callsign ]NTF[-Carcass; and Scott Achaea, callsign ]NTF[-Echo.
And finally, I am proud to report that, due to their unswerving commitment to the Neo-Terran cause, Ensign Achaea has been promoted to Lieutenant, Ensign Suzuki has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and Lieutenant Commander Alan Gresham has been promoted to Captain. Congratulations, all of you.

***BEGINNING TRANSMISSION***
Amaya: Well, my request is simple, these Furies just aren't cutting it in battle, every single time I arrive at a scene of conflict to assist my fellow comrades, rather than me being the one who saves them, they end up saving me. My pilot skills unfortunatly, don't compensate for the unreliabilty of these Furies, and thus I'd like to request access to the Hellflurries we currently have in our armory. At the moment, I'm a liability in battle, I'd like to see this changed. Whilst it could be done through sufficient training, that takes time, and time is something that we don't have to spare.
Firstly, for their continued and distinguished service to the Neo Terran Front, through light and dark, Lieutenant Drake Averos begin_of_the_skype_highlightingend_of_the_skype_highlighting and Lieutenent Commander Vayrn Wyard are being promoted to Lieutenant Commander and Captain, respectively. Congratulations.
Now for something special.
In light of a very extensive and promising record, and repeatedly going above and beyond the call of duty, captain Robert Crompton is hereby promoted to Commander of the Neo Terran Front. It is not every day that someone joins the ranks of the Front's High Command structure, and I expect he'll continue to set a prime example for the Neo Terran cause.
As for Lieutenant Commander Suzuki's weaponry request, approved.. on one condition. Superior equipment isn't everything, and I'd like to arrange some regular training sessions with you myself.

Subject: Report
This is Lt. Commander Averos, reporting on an eventful day.
I was called into Kansas from a resupply to aid against a Phantom, and a pilot gone insane.
I arrived just in time to see the Phantom fleeing out of the system.
Our probes detected a contact at long range, so Lt. Commander Amaya and I flew to intercept the pilot who'd already had unpleasant words.
We finally caught up with him at the Virginia Jump Hole, and after a lengthy discussion (which involved some unorthodox tactics used by Amaya, to gather information from this member of the Liberty Marine Corps,) we escorted the pilot, one 2nd Lt. Jack Johnson back to a rendezvous point with the Belisarius. While Commodore Ryder discussed several things over with the Marine, Lt. Commander Amaya and I began scanning the vessel.
Turns out it was an Avenger, with a full load of Magma hammers. Our techs will be taking a look over these over the next 24 hours, and seeing what they can come up with. In addition, of course, they will
examine the fighter itself.
Once arrangements were discussed and made, the Lt. was decided to stay at Boadicea for a time while possible sympathizers within the Liberty Marines are discussed, and we figure how best to use this new possible ally.
Be it weapons/fighters or even just supplies, I hope that we can find some benefits among these possible allies.
I can only hope that good can come of this. If we truly have new allies then maybe we can leave Sirius faster then anticipated.
Naturally, I have offered to be his escort while he is with us, as I take full responsibility for his actions while with us. I will not allow him to wander alone, should he prove insincere.
Excerpt from the Boadicea Station Neo-Terran Front News Bulletin Bulletin (Forwarded to all members of the NTF)
April 18, 818 A.S.
As many of you may know, the Cardamine shipments have been late and many of our members have begun suffering from Cardamine withdrawal, the Neo-Terran Front military branch has decided it is time to retrieve a shipment of Cardamine rather than have several members die of the side effects produced by Cardamine withdrawal, leading an operation to hijack a shipment of Cardamine is NTF Leader Enrico Rossini himself. He is taking a unit of NTF members to ambush an independent Cardamine smuggler, and have him take his Cardamine back to Boadicea station.
April 19, 818 A.S.
Yesterdays operation was a success however, when the Cardamine was retrieved and brought back to Boadicea, the smuggler turned out to be an undercover LSF operative. NTF Leader Enrico Rossini, who was managing the Cardamine distribution, was shot in the temple. After his assistant found him, he had entered a coma, barely alive after the traumatizing damage.
Holotape Audio Recording from Captain Alan Gresham. Title, "Do not give up."
"To the pilots and crew of the Neo Terran Front.
This is not the end. I will not allow the dream of Neo Terra to be threatened by this event. We persevered when Bosch fell, and we will continue on, even with Rossini in a coma. Commodore Suralin is our leader now, and I have full faith in him to carry us out of this dark time.
Nothing has changed. Our diplomacy will continue. Our friends will remain our friends, and our dream persists. Continue to serve with dignity. Neo-Terra will be founded. This is Captain Alan Gresham, returning to duty."
Firstly I would like to say that it feels good to be alive, and whilst still recovering, I fully intend to return to my post as Executive Commander of the Neo Terran Front, unless the current Commodores state otherwise.
Now for some less than pleasant news... For any of you who remember former Lieutenant Commander Millian Savage, she returned to the front last night... with a vengeance. The log of the events is attached below.
Her pod was tractored in by Captain Wyard onboard the Hinton, and she is currently being held in a maximum security cell onboard the Belisarius. Nobody is to interact with her unless ordered to do so by myself or a Commodore. Expect further updates on this situation soon.

Subject: Gajin, can't let 'em leave with our secrets.
(--- BEGINNING TRANSMISSION ---)
I'll make this short I suppose. Another one of those Liberty Gajin in their warships came snooping around today. This time it was one of their Gunboats, came lookin' for an 'unknown' in the F-2 Sector. Myself and Varyn-sama told him several times that there was nothing in the F-2 Sector, and that myth seekers come looking all the time for whatever it is, and that none of them have found it. Unfortunately, by the time we found him. He had already arrived at the Jumpgate. Poor poor fellow, Varyn-sama and I couldn't let him leave with the secrets of Kansas, considering that everyone would be abuzz there looking for this new discovery, we'd be wiped out. He's just one of the many un-innocent casualties for having our goals achieved, nothing more to report.
This is just a quick addition to something the Executive Commander can surely explain further. From what I heard, there was a Storta Destroyer running around Kansas, and I arrived just in time to witness it dive into Olathe, where it was driven to by the Belisarius. Apparently the crew prepared itself for self-destruction. They all manned the escape pods.
Luckily, we now have several pieces of advanced Outcast cruiser technology. Early expeditions to Olathe's surface have revealed that pretty much all of the interior components survived the impact, due to Olathe's low gravity. We can run the tech past Development, I'm sure they can make use of it. Several dozen escape pods were destroyed, however some escaped. We didn't bother taking prisoners. Can't watch them die of withdrawal and can't spare any of our supplies for our own.
Kansas is too exposed. Too close to hostile nations, too active, and generally a bad spot. I was tasked with investigating possible spots to relocate our activities. Out of all possible options, Omega 49 is the most plausible. It's very much out of the way, and near by two friendly forces- the Zoners and the Mollys.
As seen in this map result, Arranmore base is very near by the jump hole to Omega 49, and this map shows that the entire lower-right quadrant of the system is totally open. The only presence that would be an issue were the Corsair and Bounty Hunter patrols.
Other than them, if we have to pack up shop and move, Omega 49 is our best temporary option.
