Background:
An obscure aerospace corporation in Liberty developed the original Havoc bomber. The bomber was a dismal failure. Sub par materials were used in the construction of the original prototype that resulted in severe stresses in the airframe. These stresses eventually resulted in several disastrous crashes and spectacular explosions. The bomber was scrapped the blueprints and data chips were all but forgotten.
After 50 years members from Ageria Technologies found the blueprints and data chips containing the specs for the Havoc. They watched in morbid fascination as the Havoc blew up time and time again. They concluded that the materials used in the Havocs construction were not strong enough to survive the rigors of space combat. Upon further review, the Ageria researches realized that Liberty did not contain the necessary resources and materials to complete the original project.
Eventually the researchers and Ageria executives agreed that in order to complete the development of the Havoc, they would have to create a joint venture with another corporation beyond the borders of Liberty. Quickly the Ageria executives chose Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing (BMM) as a corporate ally. With Ageria designing the weapons, flight and engines, BMM used its extensive knowledge of advanced materials to create an all-new airframe. After almost a year of research and development the new bomber was ready.
Enter the Havoc MK2, a co-developed bomber by Ageria and BMM. Quickly the Liberty Navy and Bretonia Armed Forces adopted the new bomber. Several months later the Havoc MK2 was virtually exported to every corner of Sirus. It quickly became welcome addition to house, mercenary and even pirate forces across the Sirus sector.
Yep, that's a legeonation ship through and through! Another to add to my collection. (I'm a fan)
