Then they mentioned it was for white cells...

......can you use your time and skills on something more worth-while, to not make the game harder to have fun in?

' Wrote:How exactly is this making it easier for the administrators or the players ? You're just gonna end up with more requests on your plate. And we all know how swift you are with those, and imagine that it'll get worse.

This, is a load of gibberish.

' Wrote:Wait.

This is for white cells too?

The hell?

' Wrote:Yes.
White cells, if you can believe that.

Oh i just love this idea. Now all the Lolwuts out there have to actually work to be a lolwut.
Thank you admins. I really do love this. I truly cannot tell you how many times i have seen a recruit ID flying around in GB's saying "I am working on my rep". Not to mention all the bloody Pirate ID'd freelancer Tagged in every ship you can think of lolwut's.

PS. I SO LOVE THIS NEW SETUP!

' Wrote:Problem.

Admins deal with requests slowly and sanctions quickly.

The former is grey and the latter is generally black or white.

SRP takes a while, yes.

But permissions from faction leaders to fly their tech is not necessarily SRP and can be processed more quickly.

Besides ... somethings NEED time.

Negative: Gotta wait a little longer.
Positive: Removes a lot of the lolwuts running about.

EDIT: ryoken beat me to that point. :yahoo:

How's this going to affect the MM?
As we use Mercenary ID's, but we still got some faction ships, (like Junker bomber, Sabre, Falcata, Trident, Zoner Gunboat).

' Wrote:This would be actually all nice if it stopped people from doing the stuff that is really infuriationg for some.

Like someone grinding his way up into a Liberty Dreadnought, with the correct ID, kitting it out with 10 Solaris Turrets and then barging in with it into even and 'fun' - for the participants - fighter clusterfights, only to collect blue messages with an almighty big ship.

But it doesn't.

Sabre and Falcata are borderworlds. Recycler and Tridente you'll have trouble with.

At some point or another I intend to ask the Outcasts, as a Freelancer, if I can get ahold of one of their Tridentes, mainly because it's Borderworlds-ish and I love that style. Now, I don't intend to be an Outcast lackey and earn the ire of every enemy they have, which includes every lawful house and of course half the pirates in Sirius. I'm not a pirate, I'm a Freelancer, I just want a gunship to throw around so I can actually do damage to higher-profile targets. I would like to think that something could be worked out, like buying the ship and paying the actual faction money on top of it, or agreeing not to take jobs for the Corsairs and not to take jobs against the Outcasts in exchange for access to this ship. But I can't do that if my IFF is permanently screwed over, whether or not I drop the Outcast rep alone.

On top of that, for all the people with recruit IDs trying to rep up a ship in order to get access to the IDs and guns, what are they supposed to do? Blow a bunch of money on some civvy ship and gear capable of handling missions in the tougher sectors just to rep up, and then blow 'more' money on the actual ship and gear you want to have? We already have to rep up ships just to get weapons and IDs to follow the rules, we already have to get all the money and sacrifice hours upon hours upon days upon weeks to get some of this stuff. Why add more?

I can't buy an Arrow at the Macduff with a Recruit ID.
