Hmmm, that sounds pretty nice actually.

AU and LWB are too different, in my opinion.
1) AU are still a bit connected to Corsairs. They still support Artifacts trade.
2) AU are / were terrorists, now they are / should be pirates.
3) They aren't respected in public eyes much.

1) LWB are considered political activists by goverment.
2) They've got very sizeable public support.
3) They hate Corsairs.

The Corsair/artifact thing, though, makes no sense. There are specific mentions that, despite offers, Unioners would never move artifacts (or cardamine).

The LWB are definitely on the terroristic side. What else would you call firebombings and such? There's some political maneuvering, but that's much more of a Bundschuh thing, really.

There is a difference in public support (or atleast, there was 18 years ago), but part of the RP background is the AU is interested in it to try to help better their public image and support.
