Well, considering that (in my opinion at least) Liberty is currently a nomad as part of the omnomnom's new world domination plan, Liberty isn't going to stop fighting Rhienland until the Order figures this stuff out and does a huge strike on New York and gets rid of the nommed people.

Considering that Gallia would through a huge monkey wrench into the nomad's plans.

Though, the Tau stuff will have no effect on my Bretonian char. The Buccaneers don't give a rip who's in charge. EFL pays just as good as BowEx.

Though if I get money, I might make a KNF Gunboat that got cut off and is fighting with the Bretonians against the GRN.

Quote:Tau storyline lacks Outcast resistance.

'kay, I'll make one up.

''The Outcast outposts of the sector were quickly overwhelmed and overtaken, their scouting fleet being unable to counter the advanced Gallic techologies. Survivor fled back to Malta to regroup, as there were reports of hostile vessels in the [OC guard] system.''

Gallia needed a facelift more or less, a highly under used area and with the limitations in travel combined with fairly limited RP options, well..thats why it is what it is. Bringing the forces out and allowing alittle more room for travel could be good for Royalist forces.

Outlaws on the other hand have had the abilitie to use the Taus , Council going abit further , but still limited useage of thats been made. Allowing them now more options to ally and roam can again be a plus. The other day I ran into a bar patron the mentioned the Gallic Brigands had inspirations to go to liberty , Bretonia, Kusari , ect expanding thier black market and piratism.

I dont see a big issue with the proposed changes, I dont see Gallic vessels as being all that either, and I've flown most of them. Rather then continue to see a area rot, why not open it up some.

You left an option out of the first poll; "I don't know enough about the Tau story line to draw an opinion." From what I see there are huge, gaping holes in the story line. Some say that Outcasts don't lose existing bases, other say they do. Quite frankly, unless Igiss himself posts and says one way or the other, we just don't know.

With the options you left me to choose from, I chose no, I do not approve. Simply because I do not yet know enough to appreciate what will happen and consider things fully.

EDIT:

Really? Your post makes me wonder if you have any Outcast characters. Not trying to flame here, it just sounds like you lack experience in what you're trying to talk about.

If there's one rule that always strikes true to disco... it's that derpers like the one you quoted, RogueCharlie, will always derp.

I've actually got a Ranseur, and I'm sticking to that version. 8-|

i, for one, am against these would-be-wars between the main houses. when you look at vanilla, there hasn't been a major war between the colonies during the whole 800 years ( 80 year gmg-rheinland war being an exception ofc ). suddenly, after a nomad crysis, which surely drains resources of most houses ( look at rheinland, for example - multiple flagships destroyed. if that does not cripple your military capabilities, what does? ). suddenly everyone has 3487566 entire FLEETS of ships ready to duke it out with whoever looks at them wrong.

how the hell did rheinland get to go to war in the first place? are their military advisors completely retarded? in the state after the nomad war, i would sure as hell sit in a corner and lick my wounds. no way in hell, i would start a major conflict.

to get to the point - ONE (!) major conflict between houses within 800 years, and suddenly everyone goes bat**** within 20 years.

of the gallic agression, i approve, what i dont approve of, is them being so OP. they have a roughly equal opponent in gallia itself, so how come they can steamroll over everyone so easily?

yeah, i know conflicts feed faction activity, but current sirius status is one of a battlefield, not a place, where a fraction came to escape the coalition-alliance war.

Personal insult is personal. Don't really care if you dress it up in amusingly tame language.

Epic gravedig as well... so g'bye thread.
