It's a good start, but the Order ID wouldn't be the best choice. If you want to Roleplay a 'police/armed forces' pilot outside House Space, I would go for either Mercenary or Bounty Hunter ID.
I thought I'd modify your initial idea into one where you are a mercenary company. I removed some of the stuff you really don't need to post. Your internal rules and restrictions you place upon your ranks aren't needed.
Quote:Omicron Mercenary Corp
Leader: Stefan Nikolic (Punisher96)
SiC: Ben Moon (Littleone)
ID/IFF: Mercenary ID with Order IFF
Tag: OMC|Rank-name-squad
Intro:
With the ever increasing threat of various other factions around Sirius and in the Omicrons, the Order had begun to drift from its purpose of protecting mankind from alien threats in order to protect the supply lines it so needed. To remedy this issue the Order began contacting various mercenary groups and offered to fund an entirely new company to take over the protection of their supply convoys as a means to free up their trained agents for their true purpose, hunting down and detsroying alien threats. This is when the Omicron Mercenary Corp was born, members of this company weren't trained to the extent of an Order agent but they weren't to be trifled with either. The success of the OMC freed assests the Order then transfered to the front lines of the war with the Nomads.
The Omicron Mercenary Corp is tasked with protecting any supply transport bound for Order controlled space. This includes Zoner transports, retired Order agents running their own transports, or various other Order allies. The Corp will take any measure neccesary to defend allied vessels within the Omicrons.
History:
The Order contacted Stefan Nikolic and Ben Moon and offered them funds to start a new company. The men found their new jobs more dangerous than the Order had let on. Not ones to run from a challenge these men went on to recruit more mercenaries into their fold and eventually the Order gave them full control over the OMC. A year later the Corp had secured the supply lines of the Order and begun seeking to expand their interests outside of the Omicrons.

' Wrote:The Omicron Armed Forces
With the ever increasing threat of various other Factions around Sirius and in the Omicrons, the Order couldn't concentrate on eradicating the Nomads. So the Order decided to make a group of people who would focus on protecting the Order and the Omicrons from any threats.
Should that be true just because you wrote it like that? What if everyone went about doing business the same way? Or did someone who represents The Order proper agree with this?
' Wrote:Well, like it says in the post. The Order is a group of people that's main focus is to destroy and aliens such as the nomads. The Omicron Armed Forces is nothing to do with that, it is about protection of its allies. It is a bit like a police for the Omicrons but doesn't have to obey the laws. If you wanted to become a more free police then this would be ideal as you aren't actually lawful, but semi-lawful not needing to obey many laws.
' Wrote:We don't just work for the Order, we work for ourselves, Zoners and various other allies in the Omicrons. When I say work for I mean we help them not they give us Orders.
Please listen to a few words of experience. The following is a very bad idea:
"We are going to use stuff of faction ABC (ID/technology/IFF or combination thereof) while in fact we are not at all part of that faction. The reasons for this are XYZ (and because we want to)."
I'm not saying it's impossible (such silliness has happened before, and not just once). I'm just saying that you might not like where that path will lead you. It might as well turn out that the Order doesn't want you to do what you wrote you'll do, effectively contradicting your fancy script and placing you at the wrong end of the wrong gun. So I suggest you get some diplomacy going first, and establish some support for your proposed group.
' Wrote:I joined because i rather dislike the rest of the order factions, and because this idea is a fresh one.
G'day.
I take my words back. This faction started with a Resheph as flagship. By this time, even ensigns can use gunboats. And even better, if you're big friends with the leaders, you get a promotion! How great is that eh?
' Wrote:What? I mean that if someone if attempting to stop us reaching our goals we will "Deal" with them.
In what way is this 12 year old standing in our way? Because if he's killing our people then yes, he should be "Dealt" with.
I usually let most new factions have the benifit of the doubt.
But thia response...
InRP and OORPly, this is not right.
So, if my char's 11 year old sister just happens to get in your way, just somehow while working her hobby of making AIs, you'll shoot her? People can inadvertently get in the way. Blowing them away? Not the Order.
And the ranks. Highest indie I have ever seen is a Commodore (but he's a colonel now, since the Order ranks were revised). In the LN, sure, Admirals.
