I play as hesian 4 days.... NOBODY and NEVER in those 4 days told me something before fight... RM KOS me, corsairs KOS me, bountyhunters KOS me (yesterday battleship... I fly in odin:angry:).
Is there somewhere hesian = kos allowed?

Maybe I'll start KOS too if anyone else can do that.

Here's a perfect example of a guy who hates PvPs without announcements first.:P

In my opinion. Minimaly lawfulls like BH and RM must say something... in real life police can't shoot you without warning too.

Yeah, but the Gestapo could get away with it... so could gun-totin' frontier cowboys.

I think the red is dead regardless of ID would let everyone know where they stand, if someone has upset there rep then it should be up to them to get it sorted if they don't want to be red to certain players other wise KOS. No confusion and no need to warn if this is in place.

The problem with that is just because you're red with someone doesn't mean they are red with you. My trader has significantly miffed the NPC bounty hunters (something I'm trying to rectify) but the PC bounty hunters aren't hostile to me because I'm flying an Interspace tag, a faction they are probably neutral to friendly with. If I swoop out of the sun (in my advanced train.) and start shooting at them they are going to wonder why on earth I'm attacking them.

No, rep sheet is merely there for your tag and to keep your RP up, (i.e. making sure the right NPCs are shooting at you) it should not be used and in fact, as the rules stand, cannot be used to instigate PvP combat.

Exactly. This should be the rule.:rtfm:

While that is a good idea Trent, it might need to be tweaked for human players. I can see that as working jusy fine for an AI, but if the person in question is new to the game, explaining it would be better, IMHO.

Still, if the other guy's in a VHF, GB, or cruiser, you may want to shoot first, talk about it later if they're red.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Which brings me to one of my other points. People need to join the forums.

I know this will sound extreme and even cruel, but if they aren't mature enough to take the time to join the forums and check out what's going on, they probably are not mature enough for disco.

I agree.

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack
