Matok managed as much a smile as a Klingon could. "I will drink to that," he said as he held his mug up and drank deeply.
"Yes, Blood wine is perfect in a mug, NEVER a glass," he added. "I do try to keep a little of everything around. With the many passing traders, I find it easy and will pay handsomely for something I need, especially when it keeps clients such as yourself returning."

He listened about the races. "I have heard of your races. Being that we only have a destroyer and a gunship here, that would not be for us. It is all we have to keep watch in the Taus for Zoner interests."
He then thought a moment, "If in the future one of your races brings you buy here, well, we will maintain a check point and even keep my ship to watch."

He smirked at the talk of entertainment trade. "I like your thinking. I have been to the Barrier Gate station so I have a fair idea. I have some warriors here that would appreciate that kind of variety."
"Beyond good food, drink and hospitality, I have little else to offer here even if some find the quiet a nice change. I do not know if your organization provides security but having a presence here might be a benefit to us all."

Sunny grinned a bit as he mentions the races plus his thoughts on the entertainment.

"That's mighty fine of you to offer us the check point and another eye on things. I suppose there could be a race or two around here in the future. We'd... I think probably be using the lanes here for the track. Hope you don't mind that." He chuckles a little. "I do like the quiet here and as you said, it is a nice change of pace. Though I can see also how too much quite can get tiresome. I'd be happy to lend a hand as well some some drinks and such for this place to run nicely, if you'd like that." He chuckles. "And perhaps... even make it more livelier if you would wish... though this is nice..." He smiles and sips from the mug.

"Security?" He frowns a little but then smirks. "I suppose we'd be able to do some of that. We're quite close anyway. Are you worried about anyone in particular becoming a... disturbance?"

Matok thought a moment. He saw Sunny and his group more as racers and entertainers more than anything, at least, in his mind. Besides, the low profile that Freeport 6 had kept him off of the radar, something he rather enjoyed after a lifetime of war.

"No enemies in particular," he answered, "being a declared neutral zone between Kusari and the advancing Gallics, things stay quiet. We tolerate Outcasts and bounty hunters so again, we have little trouble. I count myself fortunate that I've had to neutralize only one Outcast cruiser and that was long ago."
"Besides," he continued, "I do not know what your relations are with others and I do not need to be a problem there. I think your people just being.....present......will be good business."

"Fair enough. Although we don't really see eye to eye with the 'casts flying around... We will respect the neutrality of the station and surrounding area.... So long as they do, anyway."
He says back and sips more of the wine from the mug-cup.

"Racing in a way helps to settle disputes... at least internally among our Archangel members. I did challenge a 'cast to a race once though in New London... but... heh... they got too sour that I was beating them and started shooting at me instead, claiming a bounty or some crap or other." He chuckles a little. "It's a way to.... settle things without fights. Usually, anyway..."

"Trust me when I say that I have no love of the Casts," he responded, "they are not here often so their presence is minimal."
He then snickered, "Anyone who needs a drug to better themselves? I pity them, really." He took a sip of his drink, "If ever you want to chat with someone who truly hates that stuff, talk to my old friend Doc Holliday....wherever he is.

He nodded in agreement on the racing. "A fine and honorable way to settle a dispute. Somewhere in Liberty is one of my kind who could learn from that. He has taken up the life as a mercenary and well, he lives but not in the best of conditions. Last I knew he was living on Planet Houston. At least he has his honor as money is not his driving force."

"Doc Holliday, eh? Can't say I've heard of him... He's some kind of doctor you know?"
He sips his drink some more and smirks back. " Drugs to better themselves... I have not done.... though to feel good for a little... that's a whole different thing for me. " He chuckles. "Especially with good company." He grins a little. "Though to him their own."

"Honor though... Mm... I wouldn't say we do it for honor... more to just keep the peace to an extent. "I find honor to be a killer though ... while sometimes being a coward would have made one live another day. Heh... honor... I've heard that too many times while serving in the Navy long ago."

"Yes," replied Matok, "John Holliday is an old friend....a man I owe much. He owns the Mediplex not far from us and I do my best to look after it."
"Tell me something, what do you know about an organization known as, The Core? I hear they are rather aggressive."

Sunny leaned back in his seat as Matok asked him about The Core. It had been a while since he had any contact with them.
"Aggressive? ... Probably... for me anyway they were more like manipulative." He says after he sips some more of the drink he held in his hand now.
"There was a transmission quite a while back I got from them.... kinda mysterious.... they were trying to black male use for.... whatever it was they wanted. I had a feeling too that they were working with those... Junker Marauders..." He says with a distaste in his mouth and he sipped more as if to get rid of the taste.

Matok took a moment to read something on his datapad. Anger grew in his face although he remained respectful to his guest.
"The Gallics are "demanding" that I give them co-operation while they investigate the going relief efforts in Omicron Delta," he explained, "I hate those people just as much as I hate the Core. I don't know what your relations with them are but I would be mindful."

He then ordered another round for them both.

"Relations with them? You gotta be kidding me..." He chuckles a little; shrugging and a little tipsy from the strong drink he has been drinking a bit quicker now. "They are both quite... difficult and hard headed to have relations with. The least I'd get is a 'get out of here' and the most... a shot in the hull.... please..." He waves his hand and takes the glass, tipping it up and taking a long sip of the wine. "Stubborn... no room for a little enjoyment. You know one of those Gallic recently event wanted to block one of my men to get those DROP stuff... had to smuggle it out." He shakes his head. "Ridiculous... Taus isn't even Gallic space... just... occupied... and they like to shove people around... I tell you... I bet the citizens in Gallia are like robots... no emotion."

Sunny gingerly finishes his glass of wine and reaches again for the bottle.
