[Lusitano]

*Viriato was going to the hangar on his combat suit. This time wasn't for combat, but to test new vehicles. New Lusitania armour force is too Rheinlander. He had an apple on his hand, he was going to bite it but:*

- Henrique running toward Viriato - Viriato! Viriato wait!! You .. one moment!! *takes a small pause* There is a message for you!

- Viriato - From the Order?

- Henrique - No!! ... Is from Doc! We want to speak because ... uffff... our last comms with the Order!!

- Viriato - How he knows?

- Henrique - I don't know! Maybe they told him!

- Viriato - And it comes in my name?

- Henrique - New Lusitania Adminstration!

- Viriato - So you reply it!

- Henrique - But ...

- Viriato - You have my confidence! Go on! Tell him i'm busy! You won't tell him a lie!

*Viriato turns to the hangar, is was going to bite the apple but he notice a small Order child!*

- Child - What is that?!

- Viriato - This is a apple!

- Child - What is a apple?

- Viriato - Is fruit. Is good!

* Viriato again is preparing to bitte but he looks to the eyes of the small children ...and give the apple*

- Child - Is really good!

- Viriato - Yep!! Ok! Bye! *smiles*

- Child - Bye Mister. Thank you!

*Joao near the hangar saw it*

- Joao - Looks like you didn't toke all breakfast!

- Viriato - Don't worry! If i die wasn't because of that!

*Both men enter the Dromedary ship, inside 4 protype vehicles that they will test it outside New Lusitania*

*After a while they arrive to the test ground. They unload the vehicles and prepare then for testing*

- Engineer - Which you whant to test first?

- Viriato - The hover bike!

- Engineer - Ok! But you need to change suit!

*Viriato changes his suit and prepares to ride the bike*

*He rides for few minutes and return, he don't like the the handling, there is a 6 barrel gatling type gun on the right side, and is too heavy! The technicians compensate the anti gravitacional system and inercia bumbers, and few minutes later he return to the bike. She handles well.*

- Joao by radio * Ok stop playing and test the weapons!

* Viriato goes to the target area where some figures and some vehicles are placed, using the gatling gun he destroy all targets imitating enemy soldiers and using the 4 anti tank missiles in the front he destroys all four vehicles, including one heavy tank, then he returns*

- Viriato - It is good! Put in production! I want the numbers, cost and time of production! Don't save the cost!

- Engineer very happy - Hai!!

* Viriato changes to his combat suit. It is time for the recon rover. He sits on driver place while Joao goes to the passenger!*

* Both men went to have some fun, they gave all the beaten they could ... in others words ... more fun was impossible*

* Viriato goes again to the driver place while Joao is on the passenger, and again they started to have fun!*

- Joao - Well is really a diferent type of vehicle! Six persons with the driver ... we can mount any kind of * another hole * Damn!!! Any kind of gun even that cannon, radars, missiaaaa *a jump * ... missiles!! Can you please stop that?!

- Viriato - You ant me to test it right? This is not for cruising on Port Canaria.

* Since there wasn't any more targets they return*

- Viriato - Very good! This will be our main vehicle!

- Engineer extremely happy - Hai!

* Viriato and Joao went to the next vehicle, but this time with Alpha team*

- Joao - Thiiiss .. can you slow down please?

- Sick Alpha soldier - Sir please slow down!!!!!

- Joao - Thank you! This is a bigger version of the last one. It carries 12 soldiers plus driver and co driver. We can also use it as a command center and ambu...

- Engineer - We are plannig to use one of two fast repair docks on the hangar. The production will be faster since we have all the tools we need, and with the anti gravitacional devices and also the clamps we can put several at production at the same time! We can even make one of each at the same time!

- Viriato - Good! Prepare your teams to start work.

- Engineer - Hai! But ... We have two docks and the Hathor is on one! We use the other dock?

- Viriato - No! Put the Hathor on ground! If the Order guys want that piece of junk they must come and get it, if they come we put again on the dock .. but i don't see how they gonna take it! If barely fittet on a Aquilon it will no fit on a Geb!

- Joao - And we had to break the hangar doors to give more room, otherwise it wouldn't fit!

- Viriato - But that is another story! gather all equipment. He go home!

* After all gather in the Dromedary, they return to New Lusitania*

[Lusitano]

*The Dromedary lands on the very very busy hangar! It is crowded! The Nau was unloading passengers but ... there was more than the usual! Viriato goes to Vasco and Henrique!*

- Viriato - How many?!

- Vasco- I brought 4000 from Minor as usually but this camed from Port Canaria.

- Viriato - Port Canaria?!

- Vasco - Yes! The IND brought then. They finally gather their ships, i brought then to Corfu and they brought then here. Then i brought then from Port Canaria here. 20.500 plus the 4000 on th Nau! Total of 24.500 and the Nau will still make another run! By the way... 4000 camed on a Liner!

- Viriato - Good! I will send the IND a message. Henrique did you replie to Doc?

- Henrique - Ohh sorry! I didn't had time. They started arriving soon after you left!

- Viriato - No worry!

*Viriato goes to the control room*

* Viriato awakes up alone!! Isn't a good way to start the day, but he notice a note: "More refugees arrived during the night. I had to go. Love you." Ok then!! Looks like the IND made their job well, we goes to the windown that is to the north side and .. the camp is full! and if you pay attention you can even hear the sound of 200.000 Toledo refugees speaking! He prepares himself, grab something to eat and goes outside.

Outside he notice the hangar, is full, he goes slowly towards, almost there he hears the sound of a hoverbike, Afonso is having fun. Viriato arrives to the hangar and see Vasco with Joao and Nuno, and also notice the the amount of technicians on the Nau.*

- Viriato - Have they found the problem?!

- Joao - Good morning to you too. I belive so!

* The Nau is now controlled remotely and is having problems after some passes by Om41 wher the radiation is making some damage*

- Vasco - Looks like is the isolators of the antenna are no good. They are putting some betters ones!

- Viriato - Ok then! All are where?

- Vasco - We can't bring more. We managed to bring all that we could to Corfu and then the IND brought to Port Canaria. Then we returned to Port Canaria and brought then here. There was some nomad patrols but the Caravela was clearing the path head us, so no problems at all.

* Afonso stops near us*

- Afonso - This is great! Who test drived this?

- Viriato - I did.

- Afonso - You did? I still remember last time you ere on one of this! *he laugh*

- Vasco - What happened?!

- Afonso - He crashed!

- Viriato - We were been pursuit by 4 Wilde agents also on hoverbikes. one shoots and hitted the right inercia bumper, i made a turn and hitted a snow bank!

- Afonso - He was so angry that he takes a snow ball and knock down one of they!

- Vasco - A snow ball?

- Viriato - With a rock inside!

- Afonso - Then he takes a branch of a tree, that was on the floor, and take two more and takes one gun from one that felt and kills the other! I never saw in so angry! *laught*

* Viriato didn't said nothing! We as more interesting on the empty space on he hangar ... better ... the lack of empty space on the hangar when the four ships are here*

- Viriato - We need a bigger hangar!

- Vasco - We could make a repair dock on this side, big enough for a gunboat or small transport! lso when is not need we can put the Dromedary there. I don't like that she is outside.

- Viriato - Is more for the vehicles building! If al ships are here there is no room for it!

- Joao - How many are you planning to make?

- Viriato - I want to replace all Rheinland made. We will start to those we had modify, and take all parts like the electronics and all that we can salvage, the rest is to scrap or use as targets. The ones that are stock, we salvage what we can and scrap it or use also as targets.

- Joao - From the stock ones we don't have nothing to use.

- Vasco - I can sell then! In a black market of course!

- Viriato - Do it then. Sell then all except the modified ones.

- Joao - And what about the heavy tanks and artillery?!

- Viriato - We don't need that! We only use then once and it wasn't need! Thse four type of vehicles are the ones we need! Some like the 4 wheels APC can be mounted several heavy anti tank missiles and take any targets at long range, and the 6 wheels is even better. The recon one can have also some heavy weapons so we don't need heavy tanks!

- Joao - Fair!!

- Afonso - And production will start when?

- Viriato - When we get some room! I want ships on space, and start planning the build of another repair dock!

* The main engineer was coming and heard what Viriato said*

- Engineer - Viriato san! Good morning. We don't need a big instalation. Even if we put 6 of the bigger APC, their size and weight is much less thatn a ship!

- Viriato - But it also can be used in the future!

- Engineer - Hai! We can build then this side. Not changing the main structure of the hangar. It will be connected but not part of the hangar. This way it will be easier to build and not interfere with the energy flux of the shield. We have room and in less one week we can have it ready, since we have the main materials on stock, and will only need basic alloys and that is easy to get here on Gran Canaria.

- Viriato - Ok! Do it!

- Vasco - Is the Nau ready?

- Engineer - Hai! All problems are gone!

* Viriato goes to the control room to send some message. Is really crowded in here!!*

* Afonso arrives to New Lusitania with some disturbing. On the control room we tell hat we saw to Viriato, Joao, Nuno and Henrique*

- Afonso - I'm telling you! That thing this is active!

- Nuno - But ... we can se that is not over!!

- Afonso - But is operational!

* Afonso on board the Caravela, went to Omega 55 on scouting but ... no one was there! So he went to Omega 58, where in the middle there is one unfinished Nomad gate! But .. it was active! It could see the energy flux of the worm hole (// actually the first time i was there with another ship there was nothing and i even could see the wreck on the middle but yesterday was different, i even couldn't see the wreack, i had to search for it clicking with the mouse*

- Nuno - But where leads to?

- Afonso - I don't know! But i only found some Wilde patrols near the gate! And the most strange was ... ok they shot us and we shot back, and those weapons plattform are really nasty, but ... when he got the artifact, that after wer delivered to the Barca, he had our shields about 40% then sudendly we lost then! We had to use the emergency batteries! It was like ... ahh ...

- Viriato - Like you were hit by a mortar!

- Afonso - Yes! But we didn't saw anything! We already were making our run to 55 and the scanner was all red with some Wraiths, i dind't saw Scorpions, and the weapons plattforms ... we saw no other type of ship!

- Henrique - Could it be cloacked?

- Afonso - Well is not the first time we "saw" it! (// once i detected a Keeper on Theta by the chat window, i expected him near the Om41 jump hole and he passed by me and i didn't saw it! I even jumped to Om41 to see if he was there but nothing)

- Viriato - I will inform the high command! Also Abel told me that you toke suplies and some Wild and also the artifact! Is like the one we had here! But strangely all Wild that are in prison when saw it ... they becomed calm and stopped making noise! Maybe it helps on future experiences!

- Henrique - When you plan to tell then and the Omicroners about the Barca?

- Viriato - When all this becomes more calm!

* Viriato went to the comms to send a message to the High Command*

* Viriato was having lunch when he was urgently call o the control room*

- Comms operator - Sir we receive some kind of ... static noise from Minor, on the same channel that we use to send the message from the children!

- Viriato - Can you filter? Try to find anything

*Suddendly the proximity alarm sound. But this time it wasn't a drill. Nomads ships are been detected on Omega 49. All Oder refugees did what on many drills did, they all run to the central plaza, where the main shield can hold several days!*

- Afonso arrives - Are they coming? let's go kick some jelly back side!

- Viriato - No!

- Afonso - Why?

- Viriato - Two Marduks and some heavy escort!

- Afonso - Damn! Will they come here?

- Viriato - If they want to end the Order ... there are 200.000 just here!

* Viriato looks to the window, ther are still a lot of people outside these safe zone, evn protected by the shield, that is only an extension of the main shield and will not hold too much*

- Radar operator - Sir they are on Gran Canaria orbit!

* one moment of silence *

- Henrique that arrives - They are looking for us! The camps are too big. They will find us easly! The camps are too big nd they will see us from space.

* another moment of silence *

- Radar operator - Sir they stopped right above us!!

* Viriato looks out the window again, there are still people running*

- Radar operator - INCOMING!

* New Lusitania is been bombard from space, but all first shoots hit the main shield that is prepare to last days if need it, despite that the panic is huge with many people, mainly children screaming! Viriato continues to look by the window, all from the north are safe but some on the south are still coming. The Marduks realise the center is stronger so they start shooting outside the main shield*

- Shield operator - Sir center shield is holding but outside shilds are now at 80% ... 70 % ... 60 % ...

- Viriato - Come on!! Come on!

- Shield operator - 40 % ... Sir we are giving all. All shield generators are working 100%! Center shield is holding but outside shield is now at 20 %!

- Henrique at the window - They are all safe! Too bad! Those are good tents!

- Shield operator - Outside shield collapsing! Center shield holding with no loss!

* All 200.000 Order refugees are safe, but scarred. The places where they slept this night and many others before is been scorched. But again they focus on the center shield, is where the refugees are!*

- Shield operator - Sir we have minimum variation. Holding well! We can last days this way!

- Viriato - The sheidl can last but so many people can. Prepare a message to all ...

- Radar operator - Sir they are leaving!

- Comms operator - Sir i detected a signal ... it camed from the Omicrons! It is an Alien signal!

- Henrique - What does it says?

- Comms operator - I don't know Sir!

- Viriato - They are calling back! The war on Minor started and the Order is fighting back! They are calling for backups!

* The Nomad fleet left Gran Canaria, the bombardement didn't went well for then! New Lusitania and other targets on Gran Canaria were well protected*

- Shield operator - Sir we have shields on the North. We are having some problems on the south ... looks like some towers were hitted!

- Viriato - Send the teams to repair now!

* While repair teams are trying to fix the problems on the south part, all habitant fom the north were trying to recovered what the Nomad fire didn't destroyed. Is a very diferent New years Eve!!*

[Lusitano]

*All birds were at the air, the Lusitano, the Caravela and even the Rabelo, but they weren't on space but above New Lusitania. While the center shield have suffered any damage, the north part is operational but not 100%, while the south some towers were damaged, so the ships were there in case the Nomads return and to serve as shields for the repair teams*

- Comms operator from the control room - Sir we received a message. is the Order broadcasting that ... they ... they lost Minor!!

- Viriato on board the Lusitano has speechless - Ahhh!!! ... Ok!! Afonso?!

- Afonso on board the Caravela - Go to 74 and try to find out what was really happened!

* The Caravela departed to Omicron 74*

- Henrique on the control room - What are we gonna say to this people?

- Viriato - We know nothing so we will say nothing!

* The repairs continue, Viriato look down and see all those people, everyone left anyone on Toledo or Isis, and most of they are women and children! The image of FP7, what he did passed ... don't leave Viriato's mind*

*Is the first day of the year but .. nobody is happy on New Lusitania! After the yesterday attack and the uncertain about what happened on Minor, 200.000 Order refugees are concern about thir love one that were on Toledo and Isis. Viriato is on the Lusitano, we was were Toledo was once and taled to some Order agents that he found, and also found some hidden sytems and ven one Order planet. There is a meeting, Viriato on the Lusitano somewhere on the Omicrons, Afonso on the caravela somewhere on Delta, and Henriue and Joao on New Lusitania*

- Afonso - You are telling theat Omega 58 .. blew up?

- Viriato - Yes! Now is just a bunch of radiotive rocks, but be carefull on 55 .. it is heavly armed!

- Henrique - Maybe was the jump gate! It wasn''t ready and exploded.

- Afonso - Good! And ... Minor?

- Viriato makes a small pause - Minor is ... isis is gonne and Toledo now is .. is a burning rock!!

- Henrique - Dear God!!

- Viriato - There is a lot of debris ... Order and also B Hunter Core!

- Afonso - What they were doing there? helping Order or ... helping the Nomads?

- Viriato - Don't know! And all remain Order that i found also don't have certain! I found some new systems .. and some bases and even on Order planet. Nobody really knows what to do.. is very chaotic and looks like there isn't a proper chain of command. Some agents i found even don't seem to care about why we were there and the people that we have here! It is a total lack of information and i couldn't get any more information, mainly a list of survivors.

- Henrique - Viriato there are 200.000 people here that want to know what happened to their love ones that they left on Toledo and Isis! What i'm gonna tell then?

- Viriato - Tell the truth. Minor is gonne and we don't know nothing!

- Henrique - That is not easy to do!

- Viriato - I know very well it isn't! But they are safe, and until the proper chain of command is not restored, we can do nothing! Afonso i want you close here! The Minor jump hole failed and leads now to a new system, be around here! Also the jump to Iota also failed and is now on that new system, Zeta. On the south there is a jump hole to the new system where there is the planet and two stations, one is restricted but that jump hole is protected by mines. It is better you don't pass Zeta.

- Afonso - Will do!

- Viriato - Like said, until proper chain of command is not restored, our guest will continue to be our guests. May God help us now!

*Meeting is over, Viriato continue is journey as Afonso, while Joao and Henrique gave the news to all. Naturally, desperation was their reaction but there was nothing we could do! Happy New year .....*

* Viriato was on the bridge of Lusitano, location? Sigma 17, Freeport 7 memorial. Viriato was here on the day that Freeport 7 was destroyed! He was here with his parents and his litle sister, and it was here when he saw then for the last time! What happened on Minor only opened even more the wound that never was healed*

- Comms officer - Sir we have a message from New Lusitania.

- Viriato - Uhm?! What? Oh ... ahhh ... put on screen!

*On screen appears Nuno with some bad news*

- Nuno - Sorry to give more bad news but ... we have a report of a new Wilde system! Tau 117!

- Viriato - What? Where is that?

- Nuno - Newcastle and Coronado. Looks like that old alien jump gate that was damaged ... they fixed!

- Viriato - God!!!

- Nuno - Just wanted for you to know! Also the Gallia invaded Taus and more systems. Up north is a mess, and looks like Kusari had some kind of change on the regime .. i still don't have any good information but looks like the Emperor is no longer the ruler of Kusari. And i can confirm that Casablanca is again Corsair base!

- Viriato - Nothing more?

- Nuno - Abel want to talk to you, and he said it was urgent!!

- Viriato - Ok!!! Keep me posted!

- Nuno - Will do! Nuno out.

*Communication ends and Viriato orders to open a channel to Abel onboard the Barca*

- Viriato - Abel! You want to speak with me !

- Abel - Viriato yes! Ahhh! I know what happened on Minor and ... terrible!

- Viriato - I know! Tell me what i don't know!

- Abel - Well the explosion on Omega 58 was caused by a catastrophic failure on the jump gate. I think that changed many jump holes locations! And ... the item that Afonso brought it two days ago .. becomed active and the good news is that ... well all Wild agents that we have on cells have some violent behavior, but when it became active ... they ... looks like they relaxed!! They are more calm!!

- Viriato - And that will help on your reshearch?

- Abel - I don't think so! Is just a power cell. It emits energy but i don't advise we connect to something ... i do belive that the jump gate exploded because of some kind of error.

- Viriato - So why it is a good news?

- Abel - Well ... there are some few hundered here ... is much more quiet!!

- Viriato - Is fair!! Anything more else?!

- Abel - Well no!!

- Viriato - Ok! Take care!

*Communication ends and Viraito continues to look to what remains of Freeport 7 *

*Viriato was somewhere on Sigma 17, after some refueling on Theta, we goes to his quarters and opens an high security channel for a meeting between him, Abel on the Barca somewhere on Omicron 74, Henrique and Joao on New Lusitania, Nuno on the Rabelo and Afonso on the Caravela somewhere on Coronado*

- Viriato - Greetings all! So why is this urgent?!

- Nuno - Abel is better you explain!!

- Viriato - Explain what?

- Abel - Well ... looks like ... well let me try to explain! Omega 58 ... you saw all debris and all is missing ... well the debris are from the supernova that the star become but ... the planets and bases are .. in Tau 117!

- Viriato - What?!

- Afonso - What he wants to say that everything on Omega 58 wasn't destroyed but simple moved to 117, and before you ask, yes i'm sure so is Nuno.

- Abel - Looks like that there was a power overload and instead open a nice and stable wormhole, the gate openned and gigantic one that swallowed the entire system except the star and connected to another jump gate, this case the one that was on Coronado, and ... moved all there! The only thing that didn't moved was the star that exploded!!

- Viriato - Well ... after seen those planets all togeher on Gallia ... there is nothing that i no don't believe.

- Joao - We still don't know what role the BH Core did on the destruction of Minor. But we found one last message on a Core fighter that the pilot made before he died. Looks like the Core ships also ere attacked and he speaks on one giant Nomad ship. Well ... long time ago, i became aware of one high Top Secret. After the Sleeper ships escaped from Sol system, the war continued until one giant Allien ship showed and destroyed the sun, and the entire solar system. There was one survivour that managed to reach Sirius. He and others after the findings of some alien ruins on Manhattan, may be the founders of the Order!

- Viriato - So the ship still exist or is a new one!!

- Henrique - If that thing comes to Omega 49 ...

- Viriato - Afonso and Nuno head back home! Now we all must think well what to do!

*Viriato and Joao were on the hangar, the new part was ready and prepared not only to receive a small to medium size ship, but also to build the military vehicles*

- Joao - Production already started. The engines and power cells for the first units are ready, they were built on the laboratory underground. The electronics are from those vehicles we had that we are gonna replace. Thre are two hoverbikes on service. More will come but even been the smallest, they are the most difficult to build.

- Viriato - There is no problem. This is not for mass production, so quality must be priority.

- Joao - Well we will have the best. No budget restrictions like you want ... selling one of these for profit ... about 1 million each!

- Viriato - I know! But this is just for us so no problems. Credits are just credits and no credtis pay any life of our soldiers. The Dromedary will be the main ship for fast deployment and extractions. To bigger operations ... we will use one BWT!

- Joao - Really? That is big!

- Viriato - Like i said .. bigger operations! On a Dromedary you put six 6 wheeled for combat ready and it is full! But also again ... i'm not thinking in making another operation like the one on Thulsa!

- Joao - All those armor for nothing! And the new truck? Have you seen the plans?

- Viriato - Yes but not for now. First the APCs and then the rifles and only then the truck. The ones we have here also have civilian use so no worries.

* Henrique arrives concerned*

- Henrique - So ... any news from the Order?

- Viriato - No.

- Henrique - Viriato what are we gonna tell to all this people?

- Viriato - I don't know! What you me to do? I sended several messages, and they didn't replied. I don't know nothing! I don't know even if they care about this people. I can't do nothing!

- Joao - Send another message! A last one. If they don't reply ... we start planning on giving a new home to all these people.

- Viriato - Ok will do!

* the conversation is interupted by the sound of the Dromedary leaving the hangar. On board several Delta two men teams to scout for slavers and alike*
