Jinx, I am not sure if you are intentionally misrepresenting what Bindo said, or just happen to take his words out of context. Clearly, if you read the entire post, and not just the single line you have chose to pluck out and read alone, he is saying there is no winning and losing in Disco wars. He is saying that he feels that wars in disco are a futile affair, as there is no way to effect change but the way he listed, and he is clearly not advocating that from the context of the post. I am not saying I completely agree with that, but he is clearly not saying what you are accusing him of.

Is it normal for the FP9 administrator who's other char happens to be an Omicroner to tell me "you can't do anything, bases have no health bar so we don't care what you do"? That the attitude every Omicroner (with the exception of Moebus) had since all this began, over a year ago

i did read the entire article ( i do wonder why ppl assume others do not read it all - just cause they quote part of it ) - and he does indeed say that this is a "desperate solution" to "a problem".

now zelot, i do wonder .... what is the problem ( unless you are blind to see what the corsair advance is really about )

Zelot, you are an Admin - and if you see nothing troublesome in that entire article - i cannot help you. if you think this is what is RIGHT - i do personally question your authority ( well i do it anyway ) - but that is entirely your own business ( or mine ) - it is up to you.

i can only say that - when i read something like that - where a player says "we cannot do anything about it - but troll if we really want to achive something" - i become suspicious - no matter if its was meant in good fun or not. - if i don t comment on such a line - i agree that someone might take it more serious.

after all - a member said that trolling others is a desperate measure - and an admin did not speak against it.



and yes - i would have expected an admin say "trolling others is wrong - no matter what" - EVEN if mr bindo had NEVER said he was about to do it. i would expect an admin to state clearly and unmistakenly - that "no matter how desperate or how much you feel that others are wrong - trolling is ALWAYS worse and ALWAYS wrong." ( and mind you, trolling is not critizism - trolling is malicously trying to ruin someones gameplay or gameplay experience )

its about making an example of whats right and wrong - and i fear .... some ppl are not best at that.

The problem as I see it is that people don't die when their ships explode. There is that vanilla Corsair who says he kills Zoners when no one is looking, but that's not a possibility in Disco because that ship will surely tell other people.

Aye! new rule!
If player dies he cant tell information about death to his faction/clan etc...

But no really that is awasome idea! Cause it is calls meta-gaming when you die and later say to other players who killed you and why :crazy:
