He's having a temper tantrum as much as his daughter was. And since he didn't know how to deal with her, he publicly embarassed her by posting that video on the internet.

The video wasnt about how to punish your children, but it was all about him and his 'problems'. Essentially it's a "I'm more badass because I shot your computer, I don't need to actually work out any problems with you."

One bullet would've been enough, but eight or nine? That reminds me of a psychopath there. Shooting someone over and over despite the fact they're already dead.

I bet you he beats the **** out of his daughter, and she just needed somewhere to vent.

I think the point was that instead of her brother getting the I-Pod for free he was actually going around and asking the neighbours for odd jobs that he could do for them with some pay and save up to buy it himself. It might not be tough but it's a world of better than the girl in that video. That's for sure!

The daughter may have deserved the punishment, but I don't endorse the method which the father used to inspire fear and respect. I fail to see how destroying one's property could be justified over simply having a good talk and reason.

I think this was unnecessary and could have been avoided. Those who support this would probably also support domestic violence.
