It was their choice long time ago, we wanted to be friendly but they didn't liked that with Nomads.

Restricted us docking rights on their bases, letted us to know that they see us as hostile via comm channel.

Then continued to robb our transports which carried Cardamine/Slaves from and to Malta.

When I was just .. a nobody. which was two days ago. I had experience with the raiders as I was trying to shift my own unofficial faction from "lulzy fun" to somewhat more serious interaction with the nomads.

The cult of sirius never really took off like I wanted her to. infact the only real premise was that as long as no one took them seriously we could have as much fun as we wanted to. Basically the Cult of Sirius got more support when what was left of the oracle leadership.. basically liked my ides for a new direction and we decided to merge the two.

having studied and ongoing interest in mid western and Buddhist cults myself (long story not drunk enough)
I liked the idea of closed societies within other societies.. everyone has one or had heard of one or another group of "those" kind of people, and I think thats sort of the spirit i continue with today. I kept my ideas and notions about a faction and its story close to heart, never truly compromised on the premise and kept things going.

low and behold.. I had an opportunity to Save and help keep going (albiet in a less strict and more open manner) the nomad roleplay. Turning keepers into Khara raised alot of eyebrows.. but i keep the nomads in thier intended spot thier intended role as "The Hive" trying to solve an ongoing human problem.

As a result ive seen more threads supporting us in mod changes then ive ever SEEN int he past years of the operation... odd how eventually even the bad guys can grow on you.

I wont lie and say it hasn't helped my Oracles gain ..well "legitimacy". But two things are held true. I run the nomads as they should be. the faction members to shape thier tenticle slapping activities as the lore has outlined for several years. And i Run the Oracles/Cos as they always should be. Worshipers in what "they" beleave is a superior form of life and thier "gifts" of cardi and liquid cardi as the path to that evolution. (even if its just me, my wife, and a close friend who fly them these days.)

Ive known them a vary long time, they were thrilled/shocked when this dufus got to where he is now and because of our kinship they are recognized in rp as allies of the cult and more or less cousins of the outcasts who.. more or less dont shoot whos important.

I haven't seen them compromise their rp, they've kept true to thier ideas, the only thing that set them back was the slaver id vaporizing and i still think the SR would make excellent slavers. However as you know the mod changes and people must adapt. What you have right now is a climate of many unofficial groups online playing, having fun, on thier own, not effected by the minimal efforts of some official factions.

The SR keeps trying and they keep going, much like the VR. Who are also friends of mine. Were all here to have fun, and the SR bring a flavor i think would be a good addition.

I like your group you do well and I wish you luck, but believe me or not official status is only a problem for groups that does not posess its own ship/guns and bases/ npc faction- you got all the obligations but you get no benefits from it. I urge you to check the faction rights and obligations again. It is other story if you aim to do something like SCRA and HF creating NPC faction- then the official status can help you.

And? Yes, we have pirate ID now so what?

Do you know for "Roleplay" and did you asked yourself what we do now, besides our ID, does it affects even on Reapers and if it is, how it is affecting. (smoke)

Because only we have Pirate ID, doesen't means that our lore and RP will be ignored.

If it would be like that, Nomads would shoot us on sight.
