Well, CL} are good at RP, but I do like the [101st] better. And plus, why would you need 2 official OC factions? [101st] are 7th on the faction activity. I don't see why you need 2 official fcations honestly. Just my opinion.

You will only get one official faction per ID. An unofficial faction has the right to challenge an official faction bearing the ID they are wanting to challenge for the official status. Only one will succeed. Fingers crossed the Lance will get it

Have a look at the Zoners. Or the Corsairs. It works quite well with those, with multiple active and unique factions.
From a Nomad perspective, I'd say two official Outcast factions with differing views would be very.. beneficial. Right now, the 101st have quite a few characters that represent the "The Nomads are holy" branch of 'Cast society. CL} can represent the more "Suspicious" side, which doesn't want to trust the alien squid all that much.
I don't think there's any concrete rule against having more than one Official Faction ID but...I think the 101st would have a lot to say about it In RP if that did happen. Not our choice, though.

Not a right topic for that question, but which one gonna be corsair official faction?
My first post here... so let's sum up my thoughts so far:
Well, I like the pvp advantage they have, that's certainly better than average for the most part.
I don't however like the trolling nature of which every interaction seems to manifest itself.
It also flaws me partially as to how a recantly started space-able force wishes to over-throw the major Military force that already stands... INRP, it wouldn't happen.
The OORP and INRP thoughts that surround this specific focus towards being directly against the 101st also confuses me. How they act towards even the Council of Dons which over all, reprsents much more than the 101st also baffles me.
I think there is some confusion as to how Oc diplomatic relations are actually run.
You have differant groups which specialise in certain things.... All are figure-headed by the Council of Dons....
For example;
101st: Military and security
75th: Special explorations and Intel
XTF: A force of battle-hardend units who will deploy anywhere to help on request
13th: Back-bone of defence within 23&Gallic operations
81st: Cardimine defence lines(This is renderd kinda irrelivent due to INRP and OORP, Jubnkers move most of it)
Groups that are also given a seat within the Council of Dons are as follows:
The SR~ These guys have a long abck story, but they are essentially highly trsted units who do their fair share of dirty fighting for the 101st.
Warriors of Light: This small group of old Outcasts running a player base almost since they werein existance on the server, who impressed current members of the CoD enought o be given a seat
Now that a little bit of the inferstructure has been formed... I'd gladly see the CL} as a force to add to the CoD list, it's addition would boost OC Activity further than it is already...
Y'see, as it stands now, each group mentiond has a single member who is considderd a genuine Outcast "Don". They represent the group they are attached to and as an entire council, ideas are exchanged as no single group should be entirely alone in making all decisions.
As a direct replacement of 101st.... I wouldn't like to see it as we're not doing -that- much of a bad job, are we?
I'm sure my personal opinion of the CL} has been tarnished by their OORP intent (and ingame remarks)
