Subject: Possible upcoming environmental clean up project around Planet Pittsburgh.

The Governor of Pittsburgh and DSE are currently in Negotiations with ALG for assistance in cleaning up the debris field around Planet Pittsburgh.

ALG would be responsible for the collection of the scrap, and DSE would haul it to the planets surface to be melted down into alloys that Liberty could really use for it's war effort. ALG would NOT export anything to Rheinland.

Yes, we realize ALG is headquartered in Rheinland, but they are a pan-galatic company doing business in many houses. Please be aware of this when Dealing with them now and in the future. Liberty High Command will rule on this soon. IF ALG is allowed to proceed, please keep an eye on them and escort if they need it.

In preparation for this operation, please make more sweeps of the Pittsburgh area and learn all you can about the area.

Good Luck out there.

Sergeant Seymore Justice......logging in....
...Patrol Report.......begin transmitting.....

My patrol started with a disturbance outside Manhattan docking ring. [THC]Medical-HQ was attempting to smuggle syntethic weed and other contraband items down on the surface. I ran some cursory scans and noticed that he was carrying enough marijuana to get half the Planet high. I scanned further and picked up an extremly powerful Nomadic weapon in his arsenal. This was no medical ship. I immediately ordered the dock contollers as well as the personnel running the mooring fixture to initiate immediate lockdown mode. I also made request for security officers to arrest [THC]Medical-HQ in case he was able to squeeze through anyways. Unfortunately, the docking people underperformed...again, and the smuggler was able to land safely on the planet without incident. I am not sure if Liberty offficers apprehended the smuggler, however Vice Admiral Valence.Harper is personlly looking into the situation and I feel that the situation is well cared for. I have pics of my orders to lock down the docking rings and the request for [THC]Medical-HQ to be placed under arrest.

Later, after my nerves had calmed down somewhat, I came back to planet Manhattan, only to notice that chaos once again had ensued. Gunfire raced across the planet and into the LNS-Brookstone. Several unlawful fighters, for reasons unknown to me, decided that a piece of large indie navy ship would make a nice trophy on their mantles. I patched in to comms to see if the Brookstone could use my assistance and was met with scorn from some of the bystanders who seemed to take a perverse interest in the demise of the LNS-Brookstone. Ignoring them, I finally received a distress call from the beleagured ship and began my engagement against the unlawful fighters. The first ship to go down was dragons_fire. I got off a lucky burst of magmas while he was focused on punching snacs through the Brookstone's hull. Next, was Ravana. She too, was determined to take down the Brookstone. However, I got her hull down to almost nothing when a fellow by the name of Shadix, finished her off. The next to suffer defeat was the Brookstone herself. Staggered by the steady stream of snacs, she finally succumbed to destruction. That left a couple more bombers for our group to tackle. LN Valence.Harper, along with Sergeant Maggard, assisted in taking down the remaining forces. Incindre was taken down my Maggard, and I took down .:lAztech just as Deputy Chief Riza Williams joined the fray. The battle continued, with lawful forces triumphant yet again. However, I left the battle shortly before it ended to dock for repairs.

Some pics of the battle.

Little did I know that the LNS-Brookstone was a fugitive ship that is hardly considered lawful by Liberty Navy. However, I only attacked unlawful ships that engaged it, and the LNS-Brookstone did go down in defeat, so I consider my conscience clean in the matter.

Lastly, Sergeant Maggard and I continued patrols and we were soon led to the California system to assist Navy personnel in the arrest of two unlawfuls, Black.Vulture-Project X and [Maf].MM.SirSlicey. We quickly engaged and made short work of the criminals. Sergeant Maggard distinguished himself with the kill of Black.Vulture-Project X while [LN]-valence.Harper ended the battle with the destruction of [Maf].MM.SirSlicey.

Pics to follow.

Tired, I made it back home to Manhattan, to enjoy a good night's rest. Not a bad day's work, if I do say so myself. Good job Liberty lawfuls. You did yourselves proud today.

Report filed by: Sergeant Aiden Maggard
Date: 5-16-817

Well, it looks like Seymore has done most of the reporting for me. There was one other incident. Officer McTavish and myself received a tip about pirates in Pennsylvania. Upon arriving they were nowhere to be found. We proceeded back to New York and were confronted by them near West Point. By the time the fighting started they had two Outcast gunboats and one Falcata, we had enlisted the help of a nearby Merc. It was a tough fight and Amy's ship was heavily damaged, but in the end we took them down.

//Will post screens once I sort out some Photobucket issues.

I would also like to suggest that we be allowed to use two CODENAME weapons on our SWAT fighters. The suggested loadout, if you decide to use them, would be two 3.03 refire guns with two Magma Hammers. I've done a little testing in the simulator and it has proven to be a very heavy hitting combo.

End of Report

...Patrol Report.......begin transmitting.....

Yesterday, I started my patrol by joining up with an LSF offficer--Fortunate.Son. He immediately informed me of a disturbance in the Pennsylvania system by The.Viscerator-ProjectX. ProjectX was attacking some a group of fighters and bombers which identified themselves as BoP|, or Band of Patriots.

LSF-Fortunate.Son and I kept some distance from the heat of battle to observe the outcome of the fight. I mean, why waste Liberty resources if some vigilante group wants to do the dirty work for us. Meanwhile, Officer Maggard joined up with us in Pennsylvania and we had sufficient numbers to handle the situation if it turned bad.

Unfortunately, it did. ProjectX took out one of their members, a BoP|Miffed.Lou. Time for fair play was over. We did not want to see anymore innocents get killed, even if they were some sort of vigilantes, so we quickly engaged ProjectX's gunboat. The battle didn't last too long. Several SNAC hits by Maggard and I, along with Fortunate.Son, finished him for good. Or, so we thought.

Moving to NY, we happened upon, guess who? Project X again. How he managed to get his pod tractored to safety, purchase a new ship and actually beat us to the NY system is way beyond me. Especially since the battle took place right next to the Pennsylvania-NY jumpgate. Go figure.

This time he was joined by an accomplice, SirSlicey, both in gunboats. Must be the prefered ship of choice by all the pirates nowadays. Anyways, the battle took much longer than it should have, mainly because my targeting was nothing less than horrible. Ultimately, the three of us, finished off both SirSlicey and ProjectX (again).

After that, we got word of a Rheinland ship spotted in Texas, so we hot footed it to Houston and checked the gates leading into and out of the system. We heard his taunts over the comms, but failed to meet up with him before he left the system. We did run into a Kusari trade ship identified as lamjacksego. He had in his hold, exactly 779 artifacts that he did not want to get rid of. Funny, he was surrounded outside the NY-Texas jumpgate, by no less than five lawful ships. One of them was the LNS-San.Francisco. What a poor decision he made when he decided to make a break for it. Those artifacts were blown clear to California.

Pics of the violation and arrest of lamjacksego.

Immediately after the destruction of the stubborn smuggler, we came across a member of the GST. Now, I wasn't sure what our policy was with them, but when I saw Maggard and Fortunate.Son engaging him, I followed suit and engaged myself. Funny thing was, he directed his attacks at me when I was the last one to engage him. I never seen so many missles and mines come out of one ship. They were flying fast. I made a valiant effort, but sadly my ship was lost in the battle, as was the LSF-Fortunate.Son. Thankfully, Maggard, I believe, pulled through again, and defeated him.

My understanding is that sometime later, GST declared war on the LPI. I don't know if it was a result of this particular battle, or some other conflict, but I posted all the facts I know of the encounter in my report. Maybe Officer Maggard can share some more details about the encounter.

This concludes my report on the events that occured yesterday.

Edit: Upon talking with others involved in the incident with the smuggler and the GST ship, I have come to realize that there was a connection between them. The GST ship was an escort, I believe, aiding and abetting the illegal traffiking of contraband items. Upon reading the declaration of war with the LPI, by the GST, I recommend heightened bomber patrols in Texas system, as well as fighter support in case of future GST escorts.

The GST has seen fit to declare war on us. Kill them every chance you get. That is all.

Dear Sirs,

I respectfully submit a suggestion as to how we should treat this GST threat. As you well know, any good escort does what it can to deflect any attacks away from their client and bring it toward themselves. In this way, they are able to help their transports to flee, and thus ensure payment for themselves.

I suggest that the GST are attempting to do the very same thing. By declaring war upon LPI, they have deflected our attention away from the real threat--the ones who employ them. In plain speak, it is the smugglers who insist on bringing harmful contraband items into Liberty and who hire the GST to ensure safe delivery.

That being the case, I suggest that when faced with a smuggler and his GST escort, we make the smuggler the first priority when engaging. If we are successful in taking down the smuggler, the money doesn't get to GST. Also, the legitimacy of the GST decreases as they prove themselves incapable of protecting those in their care.

Of course, after the smuggler is dealt with, the remaining GST escorts are fair game. If they want war, then they can have it. I just think to win the war, first cut off the money, then they will choke out of existence.

Please take this as it is; simply a humble suggestion from a lowly sergeant, faithfully serving in the LPI.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I must say, that Seargant Justice is onto something. In case there is a vote in the matter, I vote that the smugglers be primary targets, as Seymore stated. That way, not only do we cut off the GST, but also the smuggling as a whole.

Report by Matt Myers aboard the LPI-Leavenworth

We got an anonymous tip that a GST transport would be smuggling through Colorado, using a jump hole to enter New York undetected. Lucky for us, the snitch didn't like the GST and so divulged the location of the jump hole, and we laid a trap. The GST walked into it and was destroyed in New York running for Rochester. Someone remind me to talk to the Junkers later.

[Image: screen458.BMP-1445797.jpg][Image: screen459.BMP-1445799.jpg]

Then an LSF called for help with a smuggler around that blind spot near Norfolk, and gave us permission to enter and take him out. Some Junker with Artifacts, not much of a problem for the Leavenworth's guns.

The Chief addresses the LPI.

"First, make them GST fools cry for their mothers."

Cheers, various hoopla.

"Second, Karl Agathon is back, and is once again Deputy Chief. That means there are now four o' them."

Crickets chirp.
