I also find it hilarious that everyone defends the 'innocent' zoners.
Zoners smuggle cardi and artefacts, encourage such on their bases, and knowingly allow pirates to work off their bases, NOT TO MENTION they are the primary source of supplies for almost all the pirate and terrorist factions, rivaled only by the Junkers who hold no illusions as to what they do.
Clearly, they are very morally upright.

Others were and are, who they want to be. Not to mention, Pretty quick? I count 14 days before the first "Corsair issue" and the "Warmongering zoners" declaring there retaliation.

Not to mention, If you read the post, It seems theres 2 pro fight zoners and way more, Wait, and leave it, dont fight, zoners.

I sort of see your point, But i Brought this up the other day, I supply you with food (A Corsair?) Lawful docks at a FP buys some missiles and comes pew pew you.

It all goes around, The difference is, You were upset with one side being helped, In a different way than you are helped, but as others "Claim" at other FP's the situation is reversed.

Now you argue ones military help, the other is "first aid", I point out, that unlike "first aid" your military get to eat the food to.

Thats just a new outlook I gained yesterday. Im sure its controversial.

I actually totally agree with that.
We didn't push until we got pushed into dealing with raids coming from freeports.
Fancy that.

Replace bolded section with Barrier Gate Station.

Plus, Freeports within recognised annexed house space usually follow contraband laws.

There was also a thread a while back where Spire was complaining about a zoner hauling slaves, and both myself & Doc jumped in on the thread condemning the action.

While lots of zoner's smuggle, our .85 id forbade unlawful actions.

And honestly, If I had a 10k credit card for every time i saw lawful ID'd ships hauling cardi, slaves, or other nasty stuff - i wouldnt need a cheat to get multiple cap8's.

Either way - Zoner's aren't innocent - were just...neutral. We have no issue with anyone - people always seem to start issues with us. That doesn't translate to innocence - but it does segway into a nice analogy about kicking someone who was just minding his own business.

I see your point sortof, but wasn't it you who helped me realise I was an idot last night? I ask honestly, because as ive mentioned before, I get you and the other guy with same image mixed up.

Who ever it was pointed out a post I linked was "the beginning."

Granted, I saw no evidence to prove what he was saying was true, but I beleive it was.

The admin there is a corsair, The way he playes zoner showed me that well before I saw the post were he said he was. At this stage id love to flame the guy, and say he was using ooc in RP to fuel a war for his own amusment, but alas I cant. Every post i see by this guy, even if I can commonly see a Corsair taint, Is very In zoner RP IMO. So on "Learning further" from the post cited as the beginning, I came across this.

Dang it! EPIC fail by me, thought i bookmarked that comms, Ill look for it tomorrow, But I assure you, A Corsair sent a comms to FP5 detailing some "unlawful acts" including the images i was told "were the beginning" the FP5 admin responded, The People in question made "reasons" the FP5 admin said not good enougth, The accused accepted his decision. It seems it was enforced. At least to me.

At FP1 I enforced an NFZ with the backup of violence should it be broken.

The idea I try to espouse is not that neutrality is being enforce by gunpoint, but that diplomacy is being protect by weapons.

True enough in the corsairs case. Looks like Zoners just decided that instead of being told "your system now belongs to us, you have a few days to get lost" they said "no"

To put it in short:

You could have told the people doing the raids from your freeports that it brings you in a troublesome situation, and that the raiders should refrain from doing that. End of story. Insted you chose to flex your muscles in a way that severely threaten Zoner credibility Sirius-wide.

EDIT: Also you didn't have any proper organizational structures in place to really go down the diplomacy-route, which I think is the root of the problem.

Unlawful actions as per rules means pirating and shooting lawfuls.
And minding your own business?
A manual laborer can mind his own business.
An hotelkeeper who sells rooms to known fugitives and then sells guns he knows are going to be used against his neighbors, and then after the dirty business is over, gives the guy free room and board.....
He doesn't get to mind his own business.
Let's say the shoe is on the other foot, shall we?
mercs hunting zoners dock off Corsair bases, mercs who don't work for the corsairs, don't do anything for the corsairs, aren't really even friends with the corsairs, dock off our bases and then go raid O-74 and camp fp5 and fp9 and shoot all zoners on sight.
Zoners complain, "hey stop letting these guys use your bases to shoot us it sucks do something about it"
And the corsairs then go...
LOLNOPE WE AR NEUTRAL WE'RE NOT GONNA GET INVOLVED NOT OUR FIGHT CAN'T YOU JSUT SHOOT EM.
Well, too damn bad, they're using their bases, you're already bloody involved.
