You'll notice the general 'feel' of the piece is inspired by Monet and van Gogh, particuarly their later works. I worked on the modern themes in the main colours in the piece, attempting to simulate the pain of the recession on the people of today.

Did you get the metaphor for Capitalism and Consumerism in the world today? Very subtle I thought...

I don't like the main picture. Too much cleavage. The surrounding effects are great though.

I can't recolour blond hair easily and since most of the models I found are blondes it's not exactly helping. I recloured the jumper from its original red to green.
