Anyway, my trader is extremely red to corsairs, but being outcast and zoner (RP) it's green to them and neutral to most others (because of the zoner rep)

Alpha had a point. If all house traders have to have the right rep then you'll find most people will get name-changes or make new characters that are freelance and carry on regardless.

Personally I'm sick of traders complaining that pirate characters / players don't have the right rep and about being pirated.

If the faction relation rules can't be enforced then we definately need to do something else so that the rep system is used like it should be.

That is the problem. Most trader have neutral reps with the major pirate factions. That why most traders appear white in your HUD.

If only we can make trading an activity that annoys pirate factions...

Actually it does, though the Rep change is so slight that you wouldn't even notice a difference after a single Run, it go's like this.

Faction you buy the Goods from Rep +, that factions enemys REP -

Faction you sell the goods to Rep +, That factions enemys Rep -

So all the traders using the NY - Delta run are cancelling out the rep changes?

Corsairs hate house goverments, militaries, police.

Manhattan is a police base and hate all criminals.
