alright - here are my final versions after some feedback

light fighter - design and idea behind it

the light fighter is quite small, very very short - but quite tall - but in terms of size, it rivals the vanilla line - with a very large glass cockpit - and a fairly small fuselage. - the ship. the pilot is "standing" in this ship - similar to the babylon 5 starfury ships while maintaining a superior viewpoint compared to ships where the pilot is sitting.

very heavy fighter - design and idea behind it

This is a more traditional ship with a "normal" fuselage which maintains the vertical wings though. it is fairly small and probably nimble - but has a larger front profile, making it better in a group fight than in a traditional 1 on 1 joust. also yea - this is a re-used shiphull slightly altered and wings cut off - but i think it works quite well there.

super heavy bomber - design and idea behind it

This bomber is probably a bit unique, but in terms of gameplay not so much. it is quite massive and carries a large turret on its back - which should then be the SNAC launcher - well, due to the gameplay and balance it is of course no real turret - so tough luck.

It is meant to be used by two pilots - and its size and mass suggests heavy armor, inspired by this russian gunship helicopter.

i suggest to inspect the 3d views - there is only so much to see on the images - and yea - i can darken the skin more - but i d prefer it not to be pitch black.


edit: ignore the snippets of TV on the first image - i was watching TV while doing those models - and it seems the screencapture software caught part of that, too...


if they are acceptable - they can be uploaded to the update list

Awesome models jinx! Thanks alot, just a few things we'd like for it's perfection.

The other Vynils or Strings or Trim (dunno what it's called xD the red lines on the Snubs), can they be as dark as the Revolution Bomber ones? Also the Nose on Insurgent, make it shorter like the Bomber. Also the Arrow on the Revolution Bomber, not realy necessary can you remove it?(Arrow Dart).

With the final request, a darker Skin (Be it darker gray or black, though I heared you prefer gray so maybe darken it?).

i can remove the antenna - but would not really suggest to do so - because a little asymetry spices it up quite a bit. but yea - loosing it is no big deal.


VHF

sorry, the mesh has its restrictions - i already shortened it as much as possible without upsetting the faces.

i suggest to try it out - if it really does not work at all - or if balance says that it must be shorter - i d try to reconsruct the nose section.


about the skin - yea - i can put the brightness of the dark patches of hull to a very dark tone - maybe 20% gamma or so... just not pitchblack - i left them mostly brighter for rendering purpose - cause you wouldn t be able to see much if it was too dark ...

YES! YES! YES! That is not .85 ships, but its in a way even better. Good job one models Jinx. Darker hull will suit the coalition line however. I like the way you made wings. But I dont see Coalition flag on Insurgent. And I think the Revolution logo should not be placed that thing on its fin. By the way, I personally think that third wing on Revolution should be longer by 25-50%.

For those interested in the PvP side of things, I went and played around with the models' scale and created a hitbox for the VHF. Some images of how it scales up to the Guardian - which is generally a fairly averagely-sized ship.

Not sure if the model can handle this sort of size, will have to see how it actually looks in-game.
