Only one of the zones are active right now. Its the one in B2. Hug the IMG buoy and it should work.

Worst case you do it with other people. The IMG are pretty active.

All ore fields have not been updated for years.

The real adjustments are for making the fields specific to the faction. (Faction A mines better in field A than Faction B). I suppose it is to encourage people to create faction mining characters rather than independents. I might be wrong though so don't quote me on that.

I for once youd love to mine some scrap metal (not premium) - just for RP sake. Yet somehow there seems to be no active field anywhere. What's up with that?

Scrap fields got deactivated, can't even tell you why, even as a mining dev trainee.

Actually, I'm trying to get scrap, toxic waste and some of the older stuff back into game.

I second that. Those may be low-value, but I'm positive people would go for it if they hat the chance - even if just for the RP. Personally I'm bored with power-mining and power-trading ores.

Does anyone know the proper mining turret slot placement for the Rock Badger?

I've been trying different slots, but I can't seem to find the right combo, or number of mining turrets to get the full bonus.

I have the GMS ID and IFF.
