Yep, IMG is a good faction to start in. You've made a good choice.

Its just annoying that, spending all my credits to improve my other characters, i get pirated 3 times in a week, and this last one went hyper greedy mode. C,mon. If i want to progress i need money, but godamnit, if im going to find people demanding money from me every single day and me wihout a single credit, it just puts off my mood to play.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but that sounds like a (borderline) sanctionably excessive demand. Fifteen million is something you'd demand from a 5ker full of Gold Ore, maybe, but it's a bit overkill for half that, in my opinion.

If the guy had to pay five million he might not be nearly as upset about this whole thing.

3 times in a week ? that's fine man. But Ore trader isn't the only one way to make money, you can do smuggling trader, you can play mission. Make a bomber and play mission dude. Mission NPC drop cards you can make money by playing mission.
