Yeah...it was pretty good... , correction - it was great!
Man it was really... no words. Just this:
The escorts and prison ship were moving through this route: Hamburg-Hudson-Texas-NewYork-California-Cortez-Manchester.
We, the Pirates devided on 2 groups.
1st group was Virus and Shredder. They engaged the enemy in Texas. The numbers were against them, but they did a good fight and whats more important - they did a good recon mission - they sent us info about the enemy ships and count.
The main blocade was made in California at the tradelane to Planet Mojave.
And when they came...chaos was released :shok:   . All i could see is guns blazing everywhere , missles , ships flying all around (surprisingly there wasn't much lag)
and the group chnnel was buzzing with messages like - "Get him off me, HELP , im on him..". Man it was real StarWars out there! And when the smoke cleared off :) i found that im still in 1 piece (surprisingly with all the gunboats around). I cant do a count for my kills , because ill just add them to the team ones-we all acted as a team so its not necessary. And after the smoke lifted up... Nesa in his gunboat was givin' a fight to Virus... i just tagged along (and made things miserable for the Kusari gunboat). Every1 else were either dead and respawned, or movind in search of the Prison ship.
Me and Virus managed to take down Nesa (that Kusari Gunboat is closer to a fighter than a GB!). I moved to the lane...and then I saw it - The Prison ship was comming out of the disrupted lane! We opened fire...unfortunately no1 of us had a CD... the Prison ship managed to escape. All the bad a and good guys moved to cortez. I don't know about the fight there... I was moving through Magellan to Manchester. I had luck. I had beated the convoy to manchester. Then i took the lane from planet Wight to the Cortez JG. I disrupted it on the middle of the cource... Again the Prison ship...alone. I knew that i had no CD ... so i just swarmed the thing with sidewinders and cannonballs with the hope to manage to damage it badly (aiming at the turrets was immposible-they were too small on the 3d wired model of the target)...before the ship docked the other side of tradelane i managed to took down its shield and about 25% hull...
I followed.. At planet Wight i managed to do some shield damage again( the ship used nanos and batteries to recharge.) while i was under fire from a Bretonian GB(player controlled). I was desparete - the Ship moved to NL JG and I didn't know if i can disable it for the short run... Hopefully all the baddies were at the gate already... And when the lane jump finished i swarmed again with missles and torps...as we all did... when the prison ship got under 10% hull i stoped firing and all the others did... unfortunately still its unknown , but a fact that something/someone destroyed the Prison ship.
Bottom line: we were all fighters and 1 gunboat ... we were less ... we were dominating the battlefield ... and i survived with no death... :yu:
"Comm. Adama:
-Starbuck whadda 'ya hear?
Starbuck:
-Nothing but the rain sir!
Comm. Adama:
-Then grab your gun and bring in the cat!
Starbuck:
-Boom , boom , boom!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
My characters: - =BSG=Starbuck ; Maj. Kara Thrace(fighter pilot)
- =BSG=Galactica ; Commander Lee Adama(Battlestar)
- =BSG=Helo ; Lt. Karl Agathon (bomber)
- Colonial 795 (trader)
wow good battlew it sounds like now had tghe prison ship been smart(not saying the pilot wasn't) he/she would have sent most of the escort on the intended path and sliped around the side with just a couple of fighters for escort, by going through the texas california jump hole, while the battle raged at mojave the prisonship would have sliped by unseen but I wasn't there for this event to sugest such a tactic or I would have :)
my characters
{TG}_Telthose: slipstream, cocky lil guy who likes fast ships and enjoys hanging out with GC in Kusari (he has a thing for dangerous women)
{TG}Telthose_Trader: Tranport, a cargo carrier that likes making money the easy way (has a habit of bribing everyone so he doesn't have to fight his way from system to system, and it is rumored that he moonlights by smugling)
{TG}Thunder: liberty gunboat with battleship missle turrets (I think he is trying to over compansate for something with the size of those guns lol)
Well, it was fun to watch that's for sure. :D
Although I did get lost from the good guys a couple of times, so I missed some of the action. :P
And unfortunately my net connection acted up at the last bit in Conneticut, so missed the last bit.
But still, great fun. And I did get a lot of footage of the whole thing, will post movies later.

Er... I didnt stop to look to be honest, too many missiles and weapon blasts flying around  .
There was alot of Britonia police and possibly some Britonia Navy fighter patrols too, mostly alot of transport escorts (you know the starfliers and hawks), the transports had already run off  . Probably some freighters in there too  .
ill have to try to be up / active for the next one

At one point, I believe it was in Texas, the pirates got jumped by quite a few police and bounty hunter ships.
I saw one big transport ship get blown up at some point possibly also in Texas
