Startled by the sudden act of friendship, she relaxes and returns the hug.
"You too Miranda," she says grinning. "Take care, I'll be on New London in probably... a day or two's time. I'll come say hi. Oh, and you see a Mol you put Plasma between their eyes for me. Thanks."
After waving, Sian heads back to the bar with a warm look on her face. "Sullivan, may I request another Grave's Gin? Oh, and I'd hide the Eagle Juice by the way. You're likely only to be bothered for refunds selling that... stuff..."
Bringing out her info-tab; Sian starts checking her ExSec itinerary for the coming days.
Ed really wasn't paying attention and was pretty much just staring at his drink and happing drinking it while ignoring everything around him. He suddently decides to look around and finds that both Sian and Matilda are nowhere to be found. Sighing dejectedly, he turns to the guy behind the bar.
"Hey, mate, give me another." He stares off into space again while thinking and decides it won't be enough.
"You know what, make that a double... and what was your name again? I wasn't really paying attention if you did mention it."
Hearing a sound of some kind, he turns around and sees Sian coming back while reading something.
"Hey Sian, what's up?"
Ed scratches his head while adding: "So, uh, where did Matilda go?"
Looking up, Sian grins whilst her shaking at Ed: "Her names Miranda, Ed... not Matilda. What are you drinking? Know what, it doesn't matter, I'll have the same please."Sian indicates to the packet of Rheinland Branded cigarettes to answer Ed's question before stashing them in her flight suit pocket.
"Miranda off on her next convoy for the cycle. She looks tired though, could probably do with a rest", Sian says it with a frown and concerned look in her eyes.
Ed raises an eyebrow at the correction and shrugs.
"Well, that would have been awkward. Anyway, Rheinland ciggs? I didn't know you smoke, Sian."
Ed turns to the still unnamed bartender while nodding his head at the comment about Matil... Miranda.
"Mate, get the lady a whiskey, will ya?"
Turning back to Sian, Ed decides to change the topic to something he'd been thinking about recently.
"You know how it is, tired after a long day. But thats not really important. I was thinking about that little excursion to Curacao, after all bonuses were handed out."
He winks at her and takes a large gulp of whiskey.
"Aye, that I do. As much as I dislike those Rheinlanders... they make good cigarettes, have to admit that."
"Curacao, huh?"Sian shifts uncomfortably in her seat, checking her info-tab calender. Well, we should have booked it before the months work schedule was released. Since our promotions, we're fully booked." Sian shows Ed the calender, with solid blocks of work filling up the month."Sorry chap, next time huh? Actually, thought we could catch a ride on he Dreamweaver. It's a new OSC liner travelling around Sirius."
Receiving the drink from the bar, Sian downs it in one. Her face growing red from her drinks, she hiccups slightly before speaking to Ed again.
"Crikey... didn't realise I'd had that much... Mind passing a napkin?" Indicating with her hand towards the napkin dispenser on the otherside of Ed, , Sian slumps a little in her seat.

"Name's Sullivan," he rumbled enthusiastically. He poured a drink for Ed, and another for Sian when she arrived back. "I hope you sergeants are off-duty now, flying trashed is no good at all," he chortled. "Drinking on duty is a bad idea for all involved."
That said, he poured himself a glass of lemonade from the pump and placed it on the small shelf under the bar counter. When he was certain neither of the other two could see, he unscrewed a small bottle he kept in his pocket and poured a generous shot of it in.
"Well, nice to meet you Sulli and don't worry, all done with work for the moment. Time to kick back and chill."
Ed turns toward Sian to listen to her and smirks when he hears about her love for Rheinland ciggs.
Ed's smirk disappears as soon as he hears her reason for postponing the vacation and groans when he sees the schedule.
"Awww man, I was looking forward to that. I really wanted to go to Curacao with you. I guess we could leave it for next month then." He sigh's sadly.
"I guess we could catch the Dreamweaver indeed, better than nothing anyway and it is still time spent with you. When do you think we could do that?"
A grin appears on Ed's face as soon as he hears the hiccup and laughs a bit.
"I guess the great and almighty Sian can't hold her drink after all. And sure, anything for you."
Ed reaches over and grabs a couple of napkins. Suddenly, the thought occured to him that he hadn't really paid any attention to her clothes. Slowly, he places the napkins in front of Sian while admiring her beauty.
"Damn, even in a flight suit you still look great. The smell is a whole nother thing though." He winks at her with a playful grin in place.
Frowning, Sian turns to look Ed sternly in the eye. "I'll have you know that I'm drinking champ on Graves station for three years running, and I can drink anyone under the table! Sure, early hiccups, but it's about stamina!"As she says that, she turns pale and covers her mouth with the Napkin.
"I think...-hic-... I better... -hic-... head off before...-hic-...".Sian hurriedly pays for her drinks, and adds a tip for Sullivan. Waving as she runs out, she turns left towards the crew quarters, nearly bumping into the person just entering the Blue Lion.
"Oh -hic-... sorry!"She disappears down the corridor.
"Women..." he whispers to himself quietly. He downs the entire drink in one big gulp and turns back to Sullivan who is suspicious turned with his back to the bar.
"Oy, mate, the hell you doing over there?" Ed shakes his head.
"Ugh, so boring around here all of a sudden. Guess I'll just go pass out on my bed."
Ed stands up and slowly heads to the exit. On his way out he suddenly gets dizzy and pushes one of the pots, breaking it into a thousand little pieces.
"Shit!" He mumbles to himself quietly and runs for the door hoping that Sulli guy didn't see or hear anything.
A tall, gruff looking man enters the Blue Lion. Looking in his 30's, with stubble already turning grey on the edges, he makes his way to the bar and takes a stool.
"Afternoon. Please may I have a whiskey? Straight, on the rocks." The man takes a deep breathe and sighs, takes out a packet of Rheinland Cigarettes. He then looks back to the bartender."This place is quiet... what's your name sir?"
