The ID is going to have new limitations placed on it anyway. Ensuring that Coalition Indies and faction alike are limited quite a bit more than they are now. Simply put, it was part of the price of allowing the opening of the ID in the first place.

^THIS^ Myself and a few others been waiting for this day for quite some time. Not that i will be running to get the ID/ships. Just because i think all of the server should be allowed to play with all the server offers. Give it a chance, you may be pleasantly surprised.

No seriously. This is the start of what i hope is many more open IDs. I have said it before. I do not really want to play with the IDs or ships, but i do want the option. This is a good thing, and will bring more players i think to Disco.

Could you clarify? As it stands the ID allows all caps and has rights to Order and Hessian tech per their standing association with the Hessians and a work around for their two Osiris'. Is the plan to remove those? To dumb down the lethality of their killer snub line in line with commonly accessible kit? For ZOI is the SCRA going to be locked down or is there a plan to create a "indie ID"? If so to what end, to supply a saturated Omega region with another group essentially identical to the Hessians?
The SCRA essentially exists as an international HF legion. Their motives largely governed by an episodic type of directive which dictates their region and motives of operation. I do not believe there is a means of governing a similar style of conduct in place.
These aren't insane questions, questions which I feel might have done with preemptive answering. Or, if they have been answered and due consideration to the particulars supplied could a link be distributed?

Because some people cba to do the mandatory faction joining requirements and read wall of texts and to loads of different things just to gain access to the ID
Well they can simply learn the Prime elements of their Roleplay and spread the communism around:)

Some people prefer not to join an Official faction. Maybe they do not play often. Maybe they want a GB right away, and most factions make you earn them. Maybe they just do not like those who run it. And maybe they did apply and were turned down.
There are lots of reasons not to go Official. Just like their are lots of reasons to choose Official. It is just a matter of free choice.
Secondary do not start on me please. I was asked by admins to tone it down, and i plan to do just that. So stop using my name so you can pretent you are not trolling yourself. And BTW do a search, as you are not even correct on what trolling is.
