Do you live in a box, by any chance? A box that you sit inside while wearing earplugs and a blindfold? You must be, cause you are not listening to a word we're saying, you simply splurt out the same old tired opinion over and over and over and over.... *twenty minutes later* ... and over... and over... and over again.
Cardamine enhances the mind, it does NOT dull it.
Cardamine prolongs your life manyfold, it does NOT shorten it.
Cardamine does not cause any damage what so ever, well except maybe the genetic alterations, but that can hardly be counted as a "con".

Bah...
Carti's effects on the mind are not well documented. It's major drawback is sterility, which has caused the outcast population to crash. They are a dying people.

One downside to it is it reduces your fertility remember, which = less people, but you're all right, the Outcasts are far from a poor resource starved faction that Akumabito is trying to portray them as.
Seeing Akumabito's last post: Outcasts are not sterile, just reduced fertility. So imagine instead of on Crete or any other non-cardi addicted planet family, there may be one or two children, where as in Outcast society there may be one child per three-five families. Plus they live longer so they have more time to counter-act the infertility. They are not dying, a long shot from it.
All of akumabito's arguments essentially boil down to one thing: He plays as part of a house military, and he's pissed off that criminals have better ships than he.
The only things he's said to back his argument is that cardi is a drug and it's bad, mmkay?
Akumabito... if you want to force an argument on someone, get REAL evidence to back it. Everything in the game right now points towards outcasts and corsairs having better technology than the houses because they NEED It. Up until a couple of years go, none of the houses had any real enemies - they became stagnant.
Liberty has no real enemies at the moment, and has the largest fleet around, they arent going to be wasting resources on superweapons and superships when they dont need them.
Rheinland lost nearly it's entire fleet in the nomad war, and before that the same thing happened in the GMG war - they're not going to be out-teching anyone anytime soon.
Bretonia has had no major enemies in the past as far as i'm aware, and they've only recently gone to war with kusari - not to mention they're losing that war.
Kusari, like bretonia, has had no major enemies until they went to war with bretonia.
On the other hand, corsairs and outcasts have been fighting off alien threats as well as one another for hundreds of years, and both of them have alliances with a large number of other factions.
Outcasts are allied with dragons, GC, junkers, mollys, rogues, hackers, and hessians.
Corsairs are allied with hogosha, kusari (to a small extent), and the order.
Both factions have more than enough resources, money, and expertise to build capital ships.

You know what's funny? In the other thread that actually was about capital ships, he claimed that we had no evidence supporting that Outcast capital ships get whored, despite some 100 odd screens offered to him if necessary.
You want to play? Let's play.
PROVE that the Outcasts are feeble, weak, dying out, unable to build capital ships, or that cardamine does not increase your mental abilities. If you prove ANY of those in the manner you demanded from us in the other thread, I will buy you any ship you want. And armor, weapons, the whole rig. Go ahead, try it. Please.
' Wrote:S'cuse me? The Outcasts made, own and sell the border world ships. They don't just have a vice like grip on the narcotics trade you know... Next time you argue about this sort of stuff get your facts straight.
They probably make the sabre on malta, but not the dagger, stilleto or dromedary, and the dispersion of the borderwold ships makes it look like they were designed closer to liberty than the outcasts.
They don't have a vice grip on the drug trade. If they stop moving carti their economy crashes, they are more prisoner of the drug trade than anyone else except those that are addicted, primarily the GC, the LR and the LH. Other than those three fairly weak factions they have little direct influence.
You can keep closing your eyes and ears and pretending, but the outcasts are barely a pimple on a house factions population, resources and proficiencies.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thank you Akumabito, I needed a good laugh from this depressing thread.

Yea, still waiting on those imaginary screenies btw.

What's the point of you promising something that you know you won't deliver?
Weak - population limited, resource limited = weak
Dying out - "The Outcasts remain relatively few in number; a crash in the birth rate seems to have been another side effect of their genetic modification."
A crash in the birth rate means they are dying out.
Unable to build capital ships - In original freelancer they couldn't, they had no shipyards, and only one planet and two small bases (ruiz and cali), no mining for resources, no meaningful trade (no NPC transports and no in house trade vessels)
In the mod they added a shipyard, but without the resources to support it's a pretty unrealistic addition. No NPC is shipping any single component for building capos to that base, there is still no mining and no infrastructure to support it.
They don't even have a research station for these technological advancements.
The funny thing is that if a freelancer used the same justifications to build an independent cap ship you'd be pointing out how unrealistic and oorp it was.
