Except it looks more like something from BSG than JK2. The Waran at leasts looks close to what the current one in game does. This new Raven's Talon looks nothing like image I recall from Jedi Knight II, and looks to be fanservice to the new Battle Star Galactica series. I wouldn't have minded tweaking it some, but now it looks like a whole new ship. Why call it a Raven's Talon anymore? I own one too, so I'm interested in understanding.

The devs have slowly been trying to get rid of all the import models used for our ships. The IMG have built ships with CR before, so it makes sense that as an older IMG model it would look like the Nyx (which is similar to the Viper; as CR is similar to the BSG Colonials).

Personaly I dont mind models influenced by other universes, as long as they are not blatant import - new Waran & RT are enough different for me. Considering IMG & CR history, this kind of fits. I would like to at some point see true RT remade and better Virage & Havoc.

true, it was based on Nyx, but I didnt know that the Nyx itself is based on other thing.

also only rough shapes of both models (BSG and RT) are same, mine model is original in any way (mesh + textures)
