"Well, i like meeting new people. Making new friends is like a drug to me. I might visit your people soon. Also i have enough money to buy everyone in here a drink. As a matter of fact..."
He gave the bartender another card. This one was golden
Noam gave Maria a puzzled, but thoroughly entertained look. He proceeded to give Andrew one of his half-bows as the man was leaving, and made a note of the name in his notebook - not a data-pad, he never used those for anything important. That taken care of, he smiled weakly, and inspected his mug.
"Maria! Are you alright?" A voice could be heard from the door.
The next moment, a woman in full outcast flight suit came in; she had her helmet tucked in her arm. Her entire outfit was of a jet black, complemented with purple trims. On the front of her helm, the golden coat of arm of the Alderez Family could be seen.
"Maria! I ran from the Taus to here... what happened to you? Do you need the medics?" she said as she hurriedly approached her younger sister, obviously worried.
Maria looked up from her table, an almost shocked look on her face.
"S..Sara...I mean!...Lady Alderez! Why did you risk yourself and come all the way here just for me!? I'm easily replacible! You..You shouldn't have..."
Her voice trailed off into silence and as her Elder sister approached, she softly grasped at her right hand, kissing her middle knuckle, then looking up at her.
"D..Dona Alderez...Gracias for caring enough about me..to come all the way here! We are blessed to have you as our Family Head!"
She continued to look up at her elder sister, waiting silently for a response.
Sara smiled gently and knelt down, hugging her sister lovingly.
"It doesn't matter Maria... I'm used to take risks..."
She placed her helm down on the table, oblivious to the people around her.
"Are you sure you don't need to be checked by medics? I'm sure this backwater station has some decent medic..." she sighed softly, her eyes quiet now, glad to see Maria was safe. She loved her younger sister dearly, and wanted nothing to happen to her, despite fully knowing allowing her to operate in the core of the libertonian regions was most reckless... but there was no choice, everyone in the family had to take the same risks - and she herself was no exception to the rule, despite her preference for bureaucratic works on the land...
"Oh and... please, bartender. Wine, if you have any. I heard there was a new shipment from that new country recently discovered, up there in the east, si...?"
Her voice was tinted -just slightly- with some authority and aristocracy, a fine mix of both that called for attention... She was very young to bear the title of Dona, barely in her mid twenties...
She smiled softly, her demeanor becoming more relaxed too, hugging at her sister slightly.
"Sara..I...I'm sorry I let them do this to me..."
She looked over her torn flightsuit.
"And...my ship, I know it cost the family quite a bit of money...but...they just had too much firepower!.."
She clung to her sister a bit tighter.
"I..I don't need a doctor though, I think I'll..be okay"
