Madam President: Last night I had Apollo go to Harris to acquire a load of luxuries for my cabin on Colonial One. He never got the chance to land on Harris and his report was alarming.

I was off duty and agreed to pick up some personals, for the Prez, from Harris. As soon as I entered the system I received a repeating distress signal from a Planetform ship, it was near the station. When I got there I found a floating peace of wreckage, it was the bottom half of a Planetform cock pit and it was emitting the signal. I began to scan the scrap when, to my surprise, The Kusari military opened fire. I almost didn't escape the flak but as I linked to the lane I saw a Britonian carrier engage them.
After I got to a safe distance I made radio contact with the Bretonian BS. Admiral Wesskle said he saw the whole thing. The Kusari Navy was attacking Britonian ships and installations when a Planetform ship passed through the cross-fire and was destroyed. Admiral Wesskle had intercepted there transmissions, apparently they saw me enter the system and did not want the [CR] to get involved so they set a trap for me in the hopes that I would not make this report. If it wasn't for Admiral Wesskle and the Britonian Navy I would be star-dust...

Madam President: With this brand new threat we would be spread too thin for battle. If you encounter any Kusari Navy take a defensive stance only. You will only be cleared to engage Kusari forces if they are attacking Planetform ships.
For now, lets just try to remain a third party to this war if possible.

This is disturbing news. I'm calling a council with senior officers and the President:

Capt. Adelante, Col. Abelard, Madam President, The Bretonian and Kusari war presents a serious problem with our obligations on Harris and our problem with the SCRA leaves us stretched fairly thin. Part of our agreement with Planetform is military assistance in their other operations so we have a contractual obligation to defend harris and the trade lane construction between it and the Leeds Gate.

What are your thoughts?

Madam President : Lets face it Admiral, war with the Kusari Military in Tua-31 is inevitable. I don't wish to endanger any of our Viper Pilots against their Battleships but action must be taken.

I suggest we do not actively pursue any attack on their forces unless it is a pre-planed sortie with at least 3 of our Vipers or a pre-designated force.
Pilots should still engage in the instance of an attack on Planetform in any situation.

We can not risk loosing our friendship with Planetform.

Kusari Destroyer attacks Planetform Transports and tradelanes.

My Patrol of the trade lane construction between the Leeds gate and Harris led to the destruction of the Kusari destroyer Hiruga and her escorts. The Bretonian armed forces have been pushed to the other side of the Leeds gate and the Kusari now have a firm hold on passage from Tau-31 north. There is a Battlegroup led by the McDuff currently undersiege at Harris, they have bravely defended Harris for almost a week now but will be in need of resupply soon. We will need some volunteer guantlet runners to maintain a supply chain to harris of Engine Parts and pharmacueticals or the Bretonians will be defeated there. We also have an influx of prisoners on Harris, mostly Gaians and Kusari pilots that must be transported to elligiable institutions.

Gentlemen,

If I can ever "lose" my abysmal contract with Bowex, I may be available to assist you in running the Kusari blockade of Harris.

Not the most profitable of routes by any means.. Perhaps a per-trip "bonus" of some sort might entice a few more of us "mavericks" to take the risk.

I also seem to collect a few prisoners along the way.. Perhaps a "premium" on any miscreants collected and delivered to CR personnel?

It is time to stop running. We are strong enough now to confront Cylon threat, and more then capable to keep Harris well protected. We have strong friends within SF and they helped us when we most needed help. Maybe now it is time to return the favor.
