No, you don't need to post a link, I'll do it for you;
http://discoveryfl.com/wiki/index.php?title=Osiris

Specifically, check the notes section at the bottom which says, "Special request or posted forum roleplay is required for Corsairs ID'd characters to use." The Osiris is and always has been an Order ship - Not co-Order/Corsair.

' Wrote:Actually Corsairs are the biggest house and has the biggest population. Furthemore, corsair lifespain increased from regular one to outcast one. To find that out, and how it was done read link I gave to miss or about Etna base, I'll leave to you, since how I see you lack knowlange agian.
Wut?

No. Corsairs have always been a rather small house. Neither the Corsairs or the Outcasts are as populated as Bretonia, Liberty, Rheinland, or Kusari. Outcasts are the smallest, Corsairs second smallest. Lets not forget that they suffered massive starvation, and still have food issues, along with being one of the two most war-stricken houses in Sirius, along with the Outcasts. The OC and 'sairs have lost the most people to war than any of the other houses, and they don't get as many offspring as the others do..

"It's a game" only goes so far before you hit some realism..

' Wrote:"Once wealthy Corsairs on Crete learned of the availability of young, healthy organs, demand for the procedures quickly developed as a way to rejuvinate the sick and elderly."

: D well perhaps not outcast one, but the lifespan increased. Citation from disco wiki. Now corsair do not need to sit in wheel chairs.
Rejuvenating the old doesn't mean a huge increase in population.. Don't forget the four major houses also have this technology. The Outcasts have a living age twice that of anyone.. Having organ transplants doesn't do that much to a population. We have organ transplanting today in the real world, to assume the houses of Sirius don't have that technology is ludicrous.

This does not make the Corsairs the largest house of Sirius. Liberty holds that title, the Corsairs don't even come close..

Corsairs living as long as Outcasts, eh? Thanks to harvested organs? Don't make me laugh.

I dont think that is what he meant by his comment, but if you read Etna Station's information it clearly says how organ transplants have helped keep the population alive longer and stronger due to the availability.

...Availability of Cardamine-ized organs.
The only way these organs would make you live as long as the Outcasts would be if you started taking Cardamine yourself - which you'd technically have to, as the organs couldn't survive without Cardamine.

No it was co-operations actually first Osirses was Corsair built, not Order built ones. This is long story. Ask Zelot or other elders about it.

These changes about ship special request was mad due to solaris osirises. And we already know that that Gamma is full of cap loving lolwutters.

I was talking about criminal houses or factions excluding: Liberty Galia Kusari Bretonia and Rheinland

1150 years passed since organ transplantation started. (at 23 th century sleeperships went to sirius. More 800 years passed since they settle at Sirius. So its likely to be the year of 3000~3100) itwould be foolish to think that medicine haven't made a step farward since now days transplantation technic and success.

Besides Corsairs are the ones of primary human organ harvesters. They even trade in them - what means they have surplus of them. Citation from wiki:

Quote:Today this operation supplies various medical facilities throughout Sirius with the human tissues necessary to replace organs failing due to sickness or old age, and provides the Corsairs and their partners with a substantial, steady stream of credits.

And while yes. As far as I know from infocards and other information I saw in game or had my eyes on Corsairs are bigger in popularion than outcasts.

Outcasts already states that they lack pilots to face more numerous corsairs.

About the lifespan, yes perhaps not outcast one, but it surely had quite an effect. ( keep in mind that the main reason why people dies. Is heart problems in elder age or blood preasure. Sometimes cancer. Replacing these organs would increase lifespan quite siginicantly.)

Sprolf, well I agree this is quite strange, but until it haven't been decided diffrently the thing will stay. Besides seeing from medical view, perhaps cardamine dna changes effects only hypophysis gland. (hypophysis gland is responsible for all hormone glands work in human organism)

Cardamine has an effect on the entire body so if you use Outcast organs you're basically "dooming" yourself to a lifetime of the orange dream... and if so: What makes the Corsairs and Outcasts different after that line's been crossed? You know, other than cannibalism.

There's no way that Cardamine could improve your lifespan by replacing DNA if it only replaced the DNA in the Pituitary Gland. That's like saying flax goes straight to the pineal.

Well...
Forget that example.

But my point stands.

I would just like to make clear. I have not seen one statement from the Admins suggesting that anyone needs a special rp request or story for a Corsair to fly an Osiris. I dont really need to quote myself again, sufficed to say that the Osiris is both a Corsair and an Order base. Until such time as someone shows me something from an admin saying the Osiris needs special rp or a story, I will continue to assume that a ship that is built and sold on a Corsair base is still allowed to be used by...you know... the Corsairs. The Wiki is just plain wrong. The Admin declaration was about Order Carriers, not Osiris's. As the Osiris is sold on a Corsair base, it is available to Corsairs. And as I said, until such time as I see something from an admin stating otherwise, this is what I am going by.

And just to make clear, the Wiki is not the rules, it has many mistakes in it, such as this one.

Quote:stuff about organs and cardamine

So you thought you'd swoop in and change a core role-play mechanic... How quaint.

Not. Going. To. Happen.

Cheerio.

Actually, Planet Leeds has a far higher population than Manhattan, and all the other 'minor' planets are about the same for Bretonia and Liberty. I'd say it ranked something like, 'Gallia, Bretonia, Liberty, Rhienland, Kusari'.
